The positive thread

Let's just put things into perspective. We're now 6-4.. On a five game winning streak. We beat the riders at the labour day classic for the first time in 12 years. Today is a good day to be a bomber fan. We have a lot to be proud about!

The next time bomber fans go to watch their team play in Regina they won't be receiving slivers up their Brent  Butts every time they sit down on those crappy Taylor Field bleachers.

We are stacked on the depth chart everywhere but QB.

Having Willy come off the bench if need be is a fairly nice option though. Who knows, maybe Willy is better suited for that role.

Positve.. a 5 game win streak, The D and Special Teams being in Beast mode for the most part... guys like Loffler stepping up, Bond, Harris, Injured guys should be back soon (Randle and Smith).

We played like crap but still managed to win at the end, we never folded at the end and went 2 and out, we drove the ball a little bit and ended up kicking a winning fg on labour day for the first time in 11 years.

Another positive is that we won a football game facing adversity. We could of fell a part when Durant willed the riders back down by 16 points but we came through. This was the first time in our five game winning streak that in the fourth quarter we were in a tight football game. You can bring up the riders record all you want but Labour day is NEVER an easy football game. Our 2011 team with an even better record couldn't win in Saskarchewan, and you knew a Riders team with nothing to lose, and a motivated Duran Durant were going to bring their A game, and they did and we still came out of Saskatchewan with the W. Now we need to take care of next weekend and then we're in a good position in our playoff push.

It gets me insanely excited for Saturday.  here are some more positives too: attendance will now be going up, our next 4/5 games are at home, coming off a mega victory boosts the hell out of this teams morale......I'd be scared to be the Riders on Saturday..

We were sloppy on both sides of the ball, Our D played its worst game in 6 weeks ....we forgot about Harris down deep....but were still up 16 points, before going into "playsafe" mode far too early.  Still won.

No reason we cannot blow these guys out at the BB.

I was thinking that I would have liked a blow-out win in Mosaic, but this kind of win was almost sweeter.  Now the Riders can blame conspiracies instead of their own shittiness for why they lost.  It's far more painful.  Now lets blow em out at home and put the dagger through their black little hearts.
