Just saying but outside of moving Perreault up and Roslo down, or when shortening the bench, last Night was the first time in 2019 55 and 26 were split up. Complaceny is an issue. Maurice let it get this way, lets see if he can figure it out cuz.. Looks to me like hes done nothing to try and fix things. He just says he will then u get the same 4 lines as always. Same top 6. Same 18 stuck to 29. Same 55 and 26 attached at the hip. Do something.. Its time for the coach to start doing coach things.

Think Maurice gets this season to turn it around.. A quick exit or missing all together would get him likely fired tho.

And if your leaders like 55 and 26 are standing around floating, everyone else will too. Maurice actually broke up 55 and 26 in the 3rd, but for some reason put Roslo with him instead of Laine. Just odd. Its ****** up when your captain says you quit, you gave up.

Stone is a winger tho and we are interested in him apparently so why wouldnt we. Chevy prob pulls the wool over everyones eyes and gets Eric Staal from Minnesota. But yeah no way you move Roslo for a rental in Panarin. Jets arent interested in Duchenne apparently likelu cuz hes a Duch... Hes been linked to Nash Vegas and Columbus. We apparently interested in Stone and someone else cuz we've been scouting the rangers a wee bit also. Hayes? Zucc? Zibanejad? Dunno. Chevy seems to be a pull a trade for someone nobodies talking about guy.

Your leaders and Coach... Something is amiss there. There appears to be a disconnect.

Here's the thing... Have you watched Wheeler play recently? Hes floating.. Zero D zone play.. Hes whats the most amiss in the room. Maurice needs to take some blame too cuz a team quitting, giving up, Thats a sign the coach has lost the room.

I dont think you can just turn it off and on at will. There are bad habits with 55 26 and others that you can't just correct when you feel like it. This team is struggling.. My best guess is internal issues, but i dunno. I dont think you can coast and play crappy team D then all of a sudden turn it on and not coast or play crap D. Hockey dont work like that. Its a game of habits.. A few of the Jets leaders have developed some piss poor ones.

I think its quite obvious something is off with the team, im not in the room so i can't say but I'm wondering if theres a couple of guys who dont wanna be here and its causing problems internally. I dunno. I trust Chevy and Chipper to make the moves neccesary to switch things up.
