MH370
This probably has nothing to do with the topic you guys are discussing but one of my favorite programs is Mayday, which is a Canadian produced documentary series that investigates air crashes and is shown on the National Geographic Channel every so often. Very interesting that 95% of air disasters can be attributed to human error somewhere along the line, either before or during the flight. In the near future I expect that we will see a fully qualified pilot on standby but not at the controls, computers don't need oxygen to function, don't become suicidal and seldom lose track of where the ground is.

U.S. Federal Election
The following article explains the rise of Trump pretty well. http://www.vox.com/2016/3/1/11127424/trump-authoritarianism The rise of American authoritarianism A niche group of political scientists may have uncovered what's driving Donald Trump's ascent. What they found has implications that go well beyond 2016.

Credit Card for traveling or purchasing internationally
You can get a US credit card through any of the Canadian banks now, I've had one for years. Not sure about annual fees but it allows you to pay the monthly bill in USD and not deal with the poor exchange rates C.C. companies charge. As for traveling in countries other than the US, everywhere I've traveled I've seen Interac machines and as long as they're physically attached to a bank they should be safe and reliable. Having a couple of hundred worth in local cash on hand works for me, especially in 2nd and 3rd world countries where most vendors are not going to take credit cards anyway. If you get robbed you lose a couple of hundred and not the damn card which can be difficult to quickly shut down or replace.

Semi-automatic in a women's washroom, no problem, but bring in a penis and they freak. The demise of American culture is upon us.

Around The League Off Season Discussion
Apparently he does. http://www.stampeders.com/2016/02/26/walter-released/ Calgary Stampeders general manager John Hufnagel announces that the team has released national running back Matt Walter. “I thank Matt for all of his contributions to the club over the past four seasons and wish him the best of luck,” said Hufnagel. “Although we did recently re-sign Jerome Messam, we have increased roster flexibility heading into the 2016 season and it’s no longer necessary for us to start a national at running back and to have a national backup.” Walter was a fifth-round draft pick of the Stamps in 2011 and he joined the team in 2012. He played 59 career regular-season games — including 14 starts — for Calgary and accumulated 1,264 rushing yards and four touchdowns as well as 28 receptions for 217 yards. He was also a contributor on special teams with 11 tackles and eight kickoff returns for 160 yards. The University of Calgary product appeared in eight post-season contests and was a member of the Stamps’ 2014 Grey Cup-winning team.

CFL In St. Louis?
This is very true, the US is an incredibly insular country and they don't pay much attention to anything going on outside of their own borders. In America ignorance is bliss. I lived there for 4 years while going to University and recall watching CNN track the path of a huge hurricane over 2-3 days. Once the hurricane turned South over the Gulf of Mexico and made landfall in Mexico the tracking dropped off the map completely and the coverage dropped like the hurricane never even existed. Never heard a peep about what happened to those poor Mexicans in their straw and mud houses.

CFL In St. Louis?
That is pretty much what the NHL did to the Jets. Most fans have obviously forgiven them, but there are ex-fans that tuned out the NHL and never watched another game after screwing over Wpg.. I include myself in the second category.

Schedule Out
There is a good possibility that Collaros will not be ready to go at the start of the season, so that gives them a fair chance to steal some pts. from the Ti-Cats.

Bizarre, is TSN pushing for these mid-week games? There's going to be a few really short weeks in there.

I haven't gone over this in depth but at first glance it looks pretty good to me! Double post.

Schedule Out
Not really. In the Bombers first 7 games they face CGY, EE, and Hamilton twice, could be a 1-6 start if all goes according to precedent. Bombers have to break the mold.

Agreed, Pinball is supposed to be an inspirational speaker but if I was forced to sit through one of his lectures I would be inspired to head for the exit. He's selling something but I ain't buying it.
