CFL Draft
I wouldn't be unhappy with Junior Luke.

CFL Draft
Releasing Tenant could be a sign that they're leaning towards Ekakitie. Walters wouldn't likely divulge info. but hard to keep player agents from yapping if they've had preliminary discussions.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Maybe, but I doubt it. Just goes to emphasis how difficult it is to assess a boat load of talented players in 3 short days in the artificial environment of the mini-camp. Especially receivers and D-backs who have never dealt with the waggle before. In the end they have to cut numbers and do their best to make the right decisions....not easy.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Good point, Ricky Collins was cut last year during mini-camp and he certainly looks like he had enough talent. I think attitude and football smarts plays a huge factor in who O'Shea keeps and who he cuts.

Wasn't MBT playing in a spring league? Perhaps they are expecting him to be at the main TC.

Surprised Tenant was on the early list but maybe he's redundant with Butcher coming back.

CFL Draft
Maybe, they might not have paid much attention to him if they didn't know he was about to become a Canadian.

He should care, I don't see anyone lining up to pay Jones $500,000 plus for 365 days of work. The Rider board can cut their losses at any point they choose and not owe Jones a penny as they have plenty of ammo. for rightful dismissal. If he broke league rules, he also broke rules stipulated in his contract. If the Riders suck balls this year on the field, it's an option.

From the following article, it looks like Craig Reynolds is shortening Jones leash āWeāve talked about this internally and we donāt expect this to happen again,ā the Ridersā president-CEO said. āWeāve addressed it and we have to turn the page and move forward.ā Since Jones took over, either he or the Roughriders have been fined a total of $116,500. āWhenever you have things of this nature, it will have an impact on the brand ā absolutely ā and thatās the discussions we have,ā Reynolds said. āNothing is more important to us than our brand, and when you have something that negatively impacts the brand, as an organization you need to address it. Of course, as the CEO, Iām going to be disappointed about that.ā http://leaderpost.com/category/sports

Might be worth it to bring Judge in for a workout and a closer look since he flew in under the radar and missed the CFL Combine.

I get the distinct impression from his past interviews that Walters wants to avoid that scenario at all costs.

My God, how long does the NFL draft go on for? So far they're in round 6 and as far as I can see no CDN. players have been drafted yet.

Running tally is $110,000 in fines since Jones took over but as they say, to have the best, you must pay the most.

US Politics
Leave them alone, back off and ignore their threats and everything will resume as it has for the past 50 years. N. Korea is like a well entrenched pawn, difficult to remove and attempting to do so would cause a lot of damage to both sides. A combination of Chinese belligerence and a disruption of the S. Korean economy could reak havoc on the US economy if things went sideways so hopefully common sense will prevail.

The US has already backed down from their nuclear threat. They're not that frickin stupid.
