  1. Not particularly quick, but he's got a good top end once he gets rolling, great hands as well. Hopefully he gets a few balls thrown his way.
  2. The only part of that apology Marino wrote was his name, and he probably spelled that wrong.
  3. I don't know but you would think the Keg would have video of this event if it happened inside one of their restaurants.
  4. Thanks you are correct, it's been over 20 years since I read the book. Being pedantic, the authors last name is spelled "Stevenson". 😉
  5. "A Man Called Called Intrepid", a very good non-fiction book written about Winnipegger William Stephenson, there is a statue of him on Memorial Blvd.
  6. Ray originally had a great arm, only in his last few years in T.O. after shoulder surgery was he forced to rely on the dink and dunk passing game. There is an interview on the Waggle Podcast were he discusses this.
  7. The one thing I notice about all great QB's is that they seem to be smart individuals, not a dummy in the bunch. Brain power is more important to the QB position than the strength of the arm. In this regard, Fajardo seems to be a happy-go-lucky-half-wit.
  8. To be fair that interview was made immediately after the game, it will be interesting to see if his stance changes once he reviews the game film and hears from O'Day and indirectly from the team's board of directors. This goes beyond football and they may go over his head to remove the tarnish from their organization.
  9. What's to stop one from eating the entire bucket?
  10. He eventually would get broken, same as in Hamilton. Can't question the timing of the football gods, it is as it was supposed to be.
  11. Feel sorry for Daniel Petermann, he's never going to see the field in BC, he's now in his 4th year playing backup.
  12. Couldn't afford him if he is, the CFL needs a salary correction for top receivers, paying anyone 200k+ to catch balls is bad for business. Thank Chris Jones.
  13. I miss Kent Austin, his sideline antics were the best!
  14. I would challenge that BLM when healthy has been just as mobile but in a much more economical way than Zach, he is a master at avoiding the rush by taking a few quick steps to find space before resetting, this is one of his top assets. He's a better downfield passer than Collaros, but not as good throwing the ball on the run especially when rolling left, no QB does that better than Zach, excluding Flutie.
  15. (insert segue) Anyone know where Anthony Coombs is? He was with the RB's last year but I can't locate him on any teams roster this season.
  16. The entire league has changed in the past 5 years, with ferocious defensive play the days of the planted pocket passer are over.
  17. Still wouldn't work, look how much Zach uses his legs to find space and time, Willy was basically immobile.
  18. They better be prepared for Malik Henry, that guy is blazing fast, if he isolates on a corner he's gone. Hopefully they're better prepared for the explosion plays and can get some over the top help from Thompson. Sure wish Alexander was back before they faced the Stamps. Sey-lah-vee.
  19. I hope they test Marino for drugs, this incident looks like an extreme episode of "roid rage", especially the celebration.
  20. Doug Brown mentioned that BC's D-line is undersized, so that may have been a factor, once Stove returns running on them will be more difficult.
