Last chance saloon ...
Ever notice other teams seem to get their WRs a lot more wide open than we do? That's offensive schemes. Ours suck. Makes it much tougher on a QB when they're constantly throwing into tight coverage. Marcel plays checkers. The other CFL OCs play chess.

Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
In his post game interview, Nichols said they prepared the entire week for Ottawa to play man defense, because that's what Ottawa has done all year. Instead Ottawa came out playing zone. It took Marcel an entire first half to adjust to that. Wow. I still think Nichols is starter material in this league with a competent OC. Marcel handcuffs the entire team.

Tajh Boyd Released
O'Shea said he expected Davis back tonight.

Tajh Boyd Released
Interesting. I wonder what the issues were...drugs?

Picard Out, Goossen Starts At C
No.

Tajh Boyd Released
So Bombers give up nothing for Tajh Boyd.

Glenn To Alouettes
Which injury? Probably referring to his most recent torn pec injury.

Tajh Boyd Released
Maybe this means Nichols is close to signing an extension with the Bombers.

Dominque Davis
Give me a break. There are better qbs out there that haven't been signed. Free agents. It's called RECRUITING, Mike.I've heard of recruiting once or twice. I'll try explaining once more. How can you, as a fan, say Davis is worth cutting when you're basically going off absolutely nothing? You say there are better quarterbacks out there. Obviously. But if that's your argument, we may as well just cut everyone because we're not rostering the best anything in the whole world right now.I'm asking you - how can you justifiable say with any confidence that he should (or should not) be cut when you're giving a blind opinion on the topic? We haven't seen him do anything, good or bad. Mike, this is a merry go round with you. Round & round. As usual when you start up with me it always ends this way. You're actually arguing with me over the merits of keeping a fourth string qb?? What I said was my opinion. If I could see this discussion actually going somewhere I'd be more interested in carrying on. I'm done talking to you. Buh bye. It's funny because everyone can see I've actually been trying to get your take on something for like the last 8 posts and you just keep dodging it. You can blame me for a merry-go-round if you want but I'm not the one refusing to answer a simple question. Iso's gonna IsoA different opinion doesn't mean he's wrong. A few posters ganging up on a member doesn't mean that member is wrong either.

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
Initially when I saw Harris asking for $450k per season I thought it was ridiculous. But when you consider Willy is getting $410k next season, $450k for Harris sounds about right.

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
@CFL_News: It has been learned Harris, a free agent, through his reps wants to be the highest-paid QB in the #CFL. #Argos via Frank Zicarelli @CFL_News: Think Harris is due big raise (Ricky Ray likely testing free agency & signing w/ other team). But not richest. #CFL

Glenn To Alouettes
NFL trade deadline is not week 6. This year it's November 3.

Bombers sign NI WR Evan Pszczonak to PR
All players get 2 hot meals a day the entire season.
-
Picard Out, Goossen Starts At C
So you don't think Picard is really injured?
-
Glenn To Alouettes
The Bombers give up a 6th if he's on the roster next year.
-
Dominque Davis
I believe for a first contract there is.
-
Glenn To Alouettes
Or increases it. The weather is starting to turn which means KG is ready to start throwing terrible picks followed by the classic KG turtle and weak ass injury excuse like he always does. KG sucks and MTL can have him. You can spin this however you like, but the bottom line is Glenn is a better QB than anyone the Als had.
-
Dominque Davis
This could mean that Tajh Boyd is now the 3rd stringer and that he has signed a contract, meaning he'd be committed to next season as well.

Bombers sign NI WR Evan Pszczonak to PR
Was 6th pick of the 5th round in the 2014 draft by the Argos. It's pronounced PUSH-ON-ACK

Bombers sign NI WR Evan Pszczonak to PR
WINNIPEG, MB., October 14, 2015 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the addition of national receiver Evan Pszczonak to the practice roster. Pszczonak (6’0, 185, Windsor, October 10, 1990 in Amherstburg, ON) played four seasons with the Lancers, hauling in 134 passes during that span. He turned those into over 2,500 yards and 26 touchdowns. As a senior he averaged 20.3 yards per catch, a total good enough for the CIS lead in that category. Pszczonak is the school’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions. The club also released receiver Desmond Lawrence from the practice roster.

Glenn To Alouettes
I was afraid of this. This really hurts the Bombers playoff chances.
-
Lirim Hajrullahu
Why would a team give up a 3rd rounder when Lirim is a pending free agent?
-
Bombers add WR Jace Davis & RB Steven Miller to PR
Bruce Johnson is absolutely NOT better than Washington. He is.NotIs. Love to see a well structured debate such as this one. Hard to decide who's right. Can't wait for the French version..Il est.

Playoff tickets
BC and Winnipeg cannot mathematically host a playoff game. Edmonton and Calgary have it tied up. Best either team can do is 3rd in the West. Okay. Thanks. The question was asked of O'Shea tonight and he was baffled. You're clearly more on the ball then me and O'Shea tonight. Feel free to delete this thread
