Wylie is an investment that could pay dividends for several years. The Bombers have lots of young OLs (Pencer, Swiston, Neufeld, Jones, 2014 1st round draft pick). Even if Wylie is only here for one season, the learning and development they receive from one of the best at his craft, will help the young OLs for the rest of their career.

Pencer does not have injury 'problems'. He had a shoulder injury that was fixed last offseason. He was placed on the 9 game IR for developmental purposes.

Apparently Harris is also moving to BC full time.

Another theory on why he's not being called a 'coach' by the Bombers is because it could negatively impact his NFL pension if he were to accept another 'coach' position. As a consultant, teacher, advisor etc he'd be okay.

He mentioned the possibility of a NI at CB. Also said he doesn't think we're in a position to start 4 NI OL yet.

I asked O'Shea about the NI ratio tonight. He said it'll be 5 on offense (3 OL and 2 WR) and 2 on defense. He said he'd start 8 NI if possible as it would make the roster that much stronger. He wants fierce competition at the safety spot.

O'Shea says Bombers haven't made an offer to McCune and are likely to go with one of the 4 new MLBs the scouting department has invited to mini camp.

That, or they are paying him like a coordinator and he will have coaches under him.

Yep definitely take LDT in the 3rd if he's there. Toronto took Sewell last season even though he signed an NFL contract and now he's signed with Toronto.
