  1. Gus the bus to bring his game. Please?
  2. Well said, Leafs do indeed suck.
  3. I’ll answer that. Leafs suck.
  4. The way is head snapped back on Schenns dirty hit coupled with all the other hits he has endured over 5 games, you would think concussion along with potential deep bruising/fractures of certain body parts. Hope I’m wrong and they’re sitting him to rest him.
  5. We should start using the tablets on the bench to assist the referees with consistency. So next game when one of our players goes Schenn on a Blue player we can call up yesterdays hit to say yup give us 2 minutes interference please.
  6. Yup, Friedman reported on it today. Taken from hockey feed: 'NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports this morning that there will be NO supplemental discipline coming as a result of last night’s game'. So moving forward, Jet players should expect a 2 minute minor for interference on similar hits on Blue Players just for consistency of course.
  7. Schenn and Faska are having their way with us and it seems there is not much we can expect from the referees so score goals save pucks and shut them up.
  8. Sure but his linemates can’t do anything about the need for him to finish his grade a/b chances. I’m not trying to be hard on the young man, loads of talent, but we really need him to produce if we plan to go deep into the playoffs this year.
  9. If nothing more comes of this, I assume precedent set in this series. Next time Kyrou, Thomas etc head is down looking for the puck and a Jet player leaves his feet and steamrolls him, expect a two minute interference penalty just for consistency? The obvious strategy employed by the Blues from the start of this series is to target our top guys as much as they can get away with and at this point it seems they continue to be given a lot of latitude by the referring crew.
  10. Not to mention the fact that Scheif didn’t have the puck and he was in a vulnerable position. Reminds me of the Hartmans dirty hit on Ehlers. Blue players are taking liberty with our star players and are not being forced to answer the bell.
  11. Good win. Lots of positives but lots to clean up if we plan on closing it out in St. Louis. Hope Shief is okay.
  12. Shief was literally steamrolled in a vulnerable position illegally and quite dirty by Brady Schenn and has been manhandled by the Blue players for 4 and a half games.
  13. Neighbors stands in front of Helle poking him with his stick. Gawd do we miss Buff.
  14. Faska and Schenn having their way with our best players with absolutely no push back from the Jet players. This is a Chevy issue. Mason Appleton continues to give up pucks, gets bodies easy and loses lpuck battles.
  15. I know the Blues are paying special attention to JM but he doesn’t seem right. My guess he’s playing hurt. Mason Appleton is making it way too easy on the Blues. He’s so easy to be bodied off the puck. He’s gotta play tougher. Hopefully NN gets going now with that goal. Keep at JB, traffic and violence in front of him.
  16. I’m baffled why we are giving free rein for Blue players to stand in front of CH. Baffling.
  17. Cole Perfetti, Names, Nino. Your time to shine tonight? Please. p.s., all is good Helle, just do your thing.
  18. As we said in football, rub some dirt on it and get back out there.
  19. Everyone has their limits.
  20. I knew you'd come thru.
  21. Random question. What would have to happen in this coming season where Jeremy O'Day's employment with the Riders would be in jeopardy? Serious and unserious answers will be accepted.
  22. Send the house (pucks, bodies) at Binnington. Get in the grill of opponents best players. Free JM somehow. Win more puck battles than you lose. Win more faceoffs than you lose. Know your defensive responsibilities and keep to them. Box out opponents in front of Helle more than you don't. All players all lines finish your grade A/B scoring chances more than you don't. Know you're competing with the referees with their inconsistency. Adjust accordingly. Make the necessary adjustments to your PK/PP Dictate the game's intensity more than you do reacting to it. Let one less goal in than your opponents goalie and make more grad A saves than he does.
  23. Time to get into the kitchen of their best players.
  24. Real hard at times being a lifelong Jet fan with this rapid fire back and forth high and low experience. But we persevere.
