We all lie along a continuum of severity and consistency but some do it for a living and with greater purpose. Professional liars back each other when convenient. Professional liars throw each under the bus when its not convenient. Everything is transactional to professional liars.

Trevor Harris does not come across to me as a Team First type guy which will fit nicely into the existing culture of the Rough Riders.

He's really good at it imo. His analysis keeps my attention.

Great point. However, controlling for the media and democrats failings on this, I would think there might of been a few kinks in his armour that voters could have picked up on if they wanted to or had the ability to critically think thru. My point is the voters share some (not all) of the blame here.

To ensure I’m not being a hypocrite in doing some self reflection I can’t recall ever voting for someone that demonstrates even close to the ‘qualities’ like this Santos person.

I offer another perspective. Don’t be so divisive in your echo chamber. Be open minded. There’s many sides to climate change and censorship. This is how absurdity tries to get a seat around the table when called on their absurdity.

We currently live in a world where there is a segment of the population no matter what he says or does who love and adore this man, attend his rallies, contribute to his 'causes', follow his words closely, emulate his persona, prop up others who support him etc etc. We currently live in a world where there is a segment of the population that believe people of many political backgrounds who think trump is absurd, a lunatic and is a danger to society are actually the divisive ones creating us versus them situations and are not listening to all 'sides' of the issues, one 'side' being that of Trump's 'perspectives'. We currently live in a world where there is a segment of the population that presents themselves as moderates believing everyone else of political and social influence are equally bad not just Trump and what he stands for. So if we go after Trump we must go after everyone else or we're blatant hypocrites. Insane.

There there. At the very least that brings some solace and comfort is we know that the Riders suck and will continue to suck for eternity. Amen.

For some, good ideas for the benefit of the general masses are not their incentive nor part of their rewards system. So it makes sense because they don't want them. Some are not there to serve the general public, they are there to fulfil their own personal circle agendas by steering, distracting, deluding the knuckle dragging me me me crowd away from good ideas. It's their business model.

Checks and balances? Nope. House of cards. Once again, greed, money, power drives the show.

So what happens, and you can thank social media for this, is when I am spreading misinformation, lies (whether on purpose or I genuinely believe in these lies) and I'm countered with facts, all I do then is seed doubt with these facts being thrown at me by playing the victim, I'm the bearer of truths and these people who are countering with their facts are lying and spreading misinformation to counter the original lies I used. Mission accomplished to seed confusion, doubt everywhere and create a both sides argument when in fact there is only one side, the side of fact, i.e., science doesn't care about your 'opinions'.

He's a perfect fit for the GoP. And now a lot of his voters are flabbergasted at his lies? lol. Apparently they did just fall off the turnup truck. Telling the truth no longer matters in this party of knuckle draggers, it's enabled, it's promoted, it's swilled around on the internet and it works to get what people need until of course lies, deceit, mistruths, half truths etc work against them (i.e., Santos giving them a bad name) then it becomes an issue as they clutch their pearls.

I’m not trying to be too cynical but it feels like the NHL has sold it’s soul out for promoting addictions while hiding behind their support for equality, diversity and mental health. It feels fake but hey I could be wrong.
