  1. Well I guess we were on the right side of the 50/50 this time. Or by my count now 1 loss where we let them hang around and lost, and 5 games where we adjusted at the half and pulled away.
  2. Or the kind of game where we adjust in the second half and pull away. Which scenario have we seen more of this year?
  3. Is it possible that we in fact don’t have the roster pieces? Maybe Parker isn’t the messiah some proclaim him to be, as one example. I mean, we have a very limited sample size to consider for him, and not all of us can watch him work out at the gym.
  4. Now there’s that measured constructive criticism the “questionable roster management” crew provide.
  5. LOCK OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!
  6. Zach Collaros 28 - Montreal 3
  7. Bombers’ D getting good penetration on the run, but are giving up 3-4 yards after first contact.
  8. Poor choice by Zach.
  9. Now THAT is some concentration by Bailey to adjust to the tip.
  10. Nice patience by Brady to let the block happen, then explode.
  11. Was wrong before, but I will try again. Think this will be RTP for the tap on the noggin.
  12. When this offence is clicking it is a thing of beauty to behold.
  13. It’s just that easy!
  14. That girl on the Save-on Foods commercial shows the same patience timing her brother as the posters on this thread showed with Collaros in the first minute of this game.
  15. I was focussed on his foot so did not notice the ball control.
  16. Pleasantly surprised and happy to be wrong.
  17. Boy that’s close. Foot looks like it goes up before catch, did it come back down on bounds. Might be one of those “not enough to overturn the call on the field”. I think they give him the catch.
  18. Dalton is just so good at finding separation on those breakdown plays. Double coverage, play breaks down, and he finds the hole to give his QB a chance.
  19. Helmet off play should be blown dead right away.
  20. The Bud Grant era cap they gave away earlier this year was solid. Go with that one.
  21. So just to give some context to the record, Goodlow entered the last game of the year against Calgary in 1981 with 85 receptions. Dieter Brock targeted him all day long to get him to 100 receptions for the year. The 15 catches that day and 100 in a season were both league records at the time.
  22. Good on you, JPan! Was an east sided for 30+ years at Canadinns. Started on the east side when the move to IG Field happened, found the sun a bit glaring higher up in the upper deck. Every year they offered me an upgrade, and I always pushed to get as close to row 1 as possible, and one year asked if by chance they had anything first row on the west side. They did and I grabbed them, pretty much directly across from my old east side (row 2) seats. Fantastic view of the Bomber bench, not as insanely loud as the lower bowl.
  23. Bubba wins. DM me and I will make arrangements to send the tickets.
  24. I have two tickets for tonight’s game I cannot use. Upper deck west side 45 yard line row 1. They are yours for free (plus parking pass if I can transfer it) to the first interested person who can answer the following trivia question: Who holds the Blue Bomber record for most receptions in a single game?
