GDT: Bombers vs Stamps
Both of the above posts make me think the bombers yet again snuck into iso and krunchs house and upper deckered their toilets and peed into their corn flakes.. The ire and anger is so bewildering.. We are in the midst of a rebuild and we HAVE improved over last season.. Why not just sit back and watch the procedure do its thing without acting like a jilted boyfriend.. I thought we had been rebuilding for the last 10 years. One question: When you rebuild something don't you get the misfires at the beginning of the experiment and not the other way round? To me most Eastern teams in their rebuilding program sputtered like an old Model A at the start of the year but got their shat together while we have gone in the crapper. Every new guy starting with Kelly had a great rebuilding plan but by the time they got fired we were not better off. Take the Bombers right now and put them all on the open market. How many other than Willy would get picked up? We do not have a very good team and rebuilding with most of them is a wasted exercise. This is an opinion but based on a 5-1 start to a 1-8 current. Don't you think people have a right to be disappointed? You can only fool people so many times. I'm not about to blame O'Shea because I don't know how much he relies on the coordinators and don't know how much control they have but in the end he's the one who will take the heat.

Depth Chart - Willy out
This statement has me puzzled. Maybe he mean we have a legit QB (Willy) and an able backup (Brohm) jus t like the Stamps. I'm not 100 % sure on Willy as he has regressed quite a bit the past several games which I hope we can chalk up to playing hurt and poor game plan and shell shock and Brohm when we spot the other team 40 points hasn't looked bad ??? QB problems over lol. I'm not sure we couldn't handpick the top 2 QB 's in the league with our oline and Offensive coordinator and still not have major problems no matter who it is, they would take a beating. I appreciate the fact someone still has some enthusiasm though. At least ,they are tinkering and experimenting, interviewing somewhat for next year. How many other QB's would have taken the beating he has this year so far? It is amazing the guy is still in one piece. If we put him through the same kind of crap next year the chances are very good we loose him in the FA. Who in their right mind would choose to stay and have their career cut short because of excessive punishment. Also aching all over might result in regression. I think we have a diamond in Willy and would hope we save him.

Quarterback controversy?
But if he has a great game and the Bombers win, does he start again next week, even if Willy is healthy? If Willy is healthy? No. I hope Brohm goes out there tomorrow and gets a much needed win for us, but right now we cannot afford a can of worms being opened up at the QB position. We gotta keep the team in harmony and we've already seen enough upheaval now with the Grigsby situation. Different player, but you gotta keep the team together by stating that Willy is your man 100%, no matter what the outcome of this next game with Brohm is. I think a better way of approaching this, is that if Brohm in his start or in his other limited backup play goes out and does well, maybe you look at trading him to another team for an O-lineman or 2 in the offseason, or use him to make a move elsewhere. A O-lineman or two for a guy who has won one game? You'd be lucky if you could get a flat of Red Bull.

Grigsby Released!
So it looks like we close the year without a running back. Ford was not the answer because O'Shea like a cancer more and Cotton didn't show he was so we have to start all over again. And it took a whole freaking year to find that out? Great talent evaluators! You are right, I am pissed off. This is a business, not amateur night at the Dominion.

Grigsby Released!
You can find no less than 100 post this year where it is stated Lawless is as useless as they come yet you use him to support a comment from another guy that is also considered a useless writer. A marriage of convenience. I will admit Grisby's production went down the crapper. He might have been a cancer but until Mr. Insider gets a name tag I am not about to take it all as the truth. The reason his production went down is most times he got the ball the opposing dline was past our oline and waiting for him. The reason our QB is getting killed and our running game stinks is all on the Ol;ine. Cotton had 31 yards on 8 carries and that including one of 15 yards. Try this: Find the Ottawa game on the PRV and skip to the plays where we are running. Jog until you are at the point where Willy makes the hand off. From there single frame forward 15 frames which will be half a second after Grisby got the ball. See what he's looking at and tell me where's the hole he's supposed to go through.

Grigsby Released!
"I am told he was a cancer" Paul Friesen When this guy writes what some want to read he makes sense, if he writes something that might be true but against O'Shea the guy is a jack ass. This is so much Joe Mack. At one time when a word was said about his useless work all hell broke loose. It was always Great Guy, Great Guy. After he was fired people could not say enough bad things about him. And I am NOT comparing O'Shea to Mack. It seems the cancer is always found after the guy has left. How much sense does this make. Here you have a guy that is a cancer but keeps playing for 12 games though O'Shea maintains his team is made up of a great bunch of guys. He is sat for a game and then told he will not play Saturday at least. O'Shea on the news said he called him in and explained his options. He did not say he would cut him but his playing time would be adjusted. Here is the question: Why did O'Shea not cut him when he decided to replace him? He had the chance to rid the club of the cancer yet decided to give him options?

Grigsby Released!
Nobody knows what really happened with Grisby and neither do I. I always felt it was not good when something like that happened to the player or the club. People can only speculate and tend to congregate around the majority point of view. Now we will find out just how good the Oline is with someone else.

New coordinators for 2015?
I would buy that argument if we were to do poorly in the second quarter but lately the d was badly outplayed in the first half when these guys should have been fresh.

They say it's healthy to be able to laugh at yourself (team)
Weight might be ok for our line but isn't he a little short?
-
Riders @ Als
It would be better if the riders won. What would be great is if they win it on the last play of the game. That would make them miserable for the whole game and that would be good.

Grigsby not getting first team practice reps - Cotton to start VS Edmonton
I would appear if you're accepted into the O'Shea team you become a blood brother of the Bomber Legion that need not fear reprisal that would bear noticeable results or have your sword removed for a game.. Do you think free-spirited Roberts would have fit into O'Shea's perception of what a player he wants on his team would have to be? Just an honest question.

Grigsby not getting first team practice reps - Cotton to start VS Edmonton
I am glad we are starting Cotton. I would hope he would be given all the games if he does well. If he does then Grigby was the problem. If things are the same then the problem is somewhere else. At least the switch should clear the air about where we're weak.

Kerry Joseph Joins Riders
Durant got a busted elbow, not a busted lip.

Kerry Joseph Joins Riders
Exactly! He wins a few games then Durant takes over for the kill.

Mike O'Shea's leadership
I fully agree with your statement but I have a concern that whatever he has been telling them in the club room has not made too much difference on the field. Would you not agree there has been very little change in the effort or discipline of some regardless of what has been said in the room. If he's all over some guys these players are either too dense or don't give a shat what the HC says.

Losing Interest for this season?
Just the suggestion is a real insult to our Head Coach, GM and all of the fans.

Mike O'Shea's leadership
I think we will have to finish the year with what we have right now as far as the whole operation goes. As much as O'Shea might want some changes the time has passed for this year. We will have to get those guys to play the way they can at times and hope it works. If they don't we will live a redux of LaPo's post games comments like: "We have to learn to play better" on a short loop that just keeps going around. I think Coach O'Shea is the right person for us and feel he might have learnt lots this year. He could still make the playoffs but the odds are not in his favor. My only wish is he will make the players accountable for their conduct and effort on the field.

EJ Kuale tweet
Who and to where? Seriously, who wants our garbage. We don't have anything of value to trade and the guys we do have of value, man we shouldn't be trading them. January? be lucky to get a late round pick, the guy sucks. Again, when was the last time something like that happened, trading guys for picks? this isn't the NHL, it's the CFL, this stuff doesn't happen often at all if ever. It's rare for sure. And we don't have guys to trade really, the guys people probably want to trade, we could release an they still wouldn't get picked up. We could try Taman. He's used to be pretty good for that kind of things.
