What I'm saying is that Congress can not impeach just for political reasons, there has to be legal justification and if Mueller doesn't find any legal justification ie. Trump committing crimes (indictment or not) then the whole impeachment process will just look politically motivated.

Trump would have to be charged with a crime before we even get into the argument of whether or not he can be indicted. Mueller can charge him with obstruction and/or perjury, at least those seem to be the likely candidates at this point (hello Bill Clinton). Without those charges from Mueller, I don't see how the Dems even proceed with impeachment.

lol, maybe in the world of climate pseudo-science but not in the real peer review process. It has nothing to do with new data coming in, it's about ensuring that the work you have done and the conclusions you reached are verifiable. The peer review process completely failed to it's job in the Resplandy case because the reviewers were totally biased and only cared about the results, not the method and actually math.

That the Mueller investigation should wrap up before anything else. Campaign finance ie paying off the porn star, isn't enough to impeach anyways, Nadler (sp?) has said this, they need Mueller to pile up a few more charges but it doesn't appear that Mueller has found anything beyond misdemeanors. The optics are bad for the Dems, scrambling to find more charges just so they can move to impeach to appease their rabid base. Couldn't win at the polls so they will try with dirt, why not just wait a year and win the next election? It should be a slam dunk for them.
