HIggins was considered more of a coup than the last of the castoffs... Wetenhall's mistake is keeping Popp and Higgins - he needed to make a decision one way or the other, instead he waffled. Now it sure looks like there is an internal power struggle. I still say Popp's focus was on the NFL this past year. Montreal wasn't in on any of the QB bidding... I mean is David Foucault really worth passing on Kevin Glenn...?

I can't see how this could be justified as a coaching decision... Woods was pretty consistent and almost broke one against Sask. Must be injury. Just tell me we won't see Cotton and Washington lined up as our returners.

So, if I read this right... BC can grab guys from one of the six teams in the BC conference... the Ontario teams have a choice of seven teams... and the bombers can pick someone from the Rifles...? And thats it.

I mean I guess my question is - is there a cost involved or a limit to how many guys you can have or what? To me, it would seem like a no-brainer if you can lock up potential talent for essentially nothing... like an extra draft pick every year...

Brink must be one of those guys that is great in practice and is a real 'student of the game' to keep getting chances like this... if he lasts the game, I will be surprised.

I would think Goossen and Unamba ...but Cotton wouldn't surprise me either. The T.O. defence does not look scary at all, Grigsby just might buy himself a few more games with a good performance this week.

Calgary has both Mitchell and Tate under contract through next season... no real reason to trade Tate unless its for first overall. Can't see any Qbs moving with the west being super tight this year. Montreal has to wait until the next great backup hits free agency... maybe Gale? Not too many out there - don't think Glenn is F.A. until 2016

I agree about the Calgary model and have high hopes for Goosen. Not as sold on Neufeld as most other on here, he reminds me of Morely playing guard. What's interesting is that 'Calgary's model' sure blows away the argument that it takes years to build an OLine.
