Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
No need for that. Dan Lefevour is bigger and faster than Hurl. Put him in there. My guess is he would anticipate the play better than Hurl, get to the right spot on time, and make the tackle. Plus he'd love to blitz and clobber opposing QBs.

Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
Even before today Bombers FG kick percentage was worst in the league. Even before today Bombers D surrendered most yards of all teams on 1st down and gave up most yards on average per play - worst in the league. This is football bread and butter and signals continued major weakness. This weakness is just being exacerbated down the stretch.

Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
Brutal defence. Sketchy kicker. Goofy coaching.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
Would be excellent to see Bombers host the W Final! But alot of things need to fall into place for that, as you say, starting today vs Toronto. Here's hoping Bombers just put the boots to Stamps in the final regular season game and make a friggin statement like Riders did last night. I see BLM eating some humble pie today on Twitter.

Talks with Mulumba
I think they made the wrong decision. Thorpe looked immensely better than Lankford at receiver IMHO and who knows how Thorpe might have fared on returns? But Thorpe quit on his teammates so, fuera de aquĆ hombre.

Official Moe Out for Season
Leggett is the kind of guy who will commit 100% to rehab and come back next year in the best shape of his life.

Lions @ Bombers - Right The Ship Edition
JFG is very under-rated by Bombers fans. He has been very consistent and made several game-winning clutch grabs for us over the past 3 years. Hopefully he is healthy and not a last minute scratch.

Wilder is out vs Esks, I believe. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/10/12/wilder-jr-likely-saturdays-matchup-vs-esks/

Fire Richie Hall !!!! DISGRACE COACH
Who was the backup kicker/punter in 2016 then, Addison Richards? You don't keep a marginal player around because they are the last resort kicker.

"Get on your feet, Bomber fans"
Bombers didn't give it much thought, obviously. But there are many terrible events around the world and the selection of those 2 events seems arbitrary and jingoistic. What should be the appropriate criteria for a moment of silence at a sporting event? Why Vegas? That was not made clear. If you're going to honour victims of a tragedy that has transpired in a foreign country, why not then the Manchester bombing in the UK? What about natural disasters - why not also honour earthquake victims in Mexico? What about the Rohinga in Burma? The Edmonton event seems a weird thing to honour or memorialize - since there were no fatalities and the perp appears simply to have been a nutjob since there was no evidence it was terrorism and therefore no terror-related charges. As you say, better to avoid entirely.

"Get on your feet, Bomber fans"
It was a relief that the usual singer was replaced at the Ti-Cats game, even if temporarily, by soprano Tracy Dahl - who really belted it out in the correct tempo. But then I have another quibble: why was there a moment of silence for events in Edmonton and Las Vegas?

Injuries After Hamilton
Not sure if anyone has mentioned Mike Miller. He came off the field favouring his foot or ankle. Same thing with Flanders, it looked like a foot or ankle. I was a bit surprised they kept Harris in for the whole game, he was noticeably limping too.

Bombers Add 6 To PR
That answers that. For some reason I thought he was FA after this season. Great! Thanks.
-
Bombers Add 6 To PR
I was suggesting the opposite regarding Davis. His job maybe be safe but he could end up elsewhere next season if he thinks he has a better chance to actually play.
-
Bombers Add 6 To PR
Why are they bringing in QBs? Is this a signal that Dom Davis won't be here next season?
-
Bombers at Shmoes GDT
Gonna be a tight game, maybe a clutch catch by JFG does it for Blue.
-
Westerman Out For Season
I wonder if Jamaal Westerman will end up being a coach for the Bombers? MOS indicated today that once #55 returns from the USA in a few days, Bombers will have more to say about his situation.
-
Bombers Release Thorpe
Yes Fogg and Flanders can easily handle both KO and punt returns.
-
Bombers Release Thorpe
Ya, it's not the TJ monicker. It's the jersey #14. Both Jeffers Harris and Thorpe. Thorpe prob lands in HAM too.

Labour Day Classic: Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan
Bombers previous losses vs Stamps & BC it felt like we could've and maybe should've won those games. But today Winnipeg just got outplayed and did not deserve to win. Sask might be a better team. At least they were today. We'll see which Bomber team shows up next week at home.

Labour Day Classic: Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan
They brought in the Dalai Lama or Archbishop of Sask to lay a curse on Jones, so Bombers should be good today.

Injury Report
Please - Neufeld over Coombs any day. Mainly because Neufeld is pretty good player when healthy whereas Coombs is very average, maybe even a bit below average. Plus Coombs just had surgery on a recurring shoulder problem (another dislocation?) and is probably out for the rest of the season if not forever. Bombers would be nuts to acquire him under any circumstances. Declan Cross on the other hand is a player I'd love to see in Blue and Gold. That guy reminds me of Harris.

Injury Report
Agree 100% with this and truly would prefer to see Lankford sit out. Big on Thorpe and his YAC ability. Was a bit of evidence Thorpe played fast and loose with the football last week though, coughed it once and almost twice IIRC. Better not be Lankford who spits the ball out this week.

Injury Report
Utilizing Lankford and Dressler might have something to do with the opponent being Sask. Dressler has been a monster for us vs Sask and Lankford, motivated, returned a punt 70 yards for a TD against his old team in Regina during the pre-season - called back on a penalty. I hope Thorpe is back in for the Banjo Bowl however - and not sure Lankford will be, or even should be, returning punts this time around vs Riders.

Roc Carmichael
Carmichael seems to hanging around opposing receivers whenever there is a big score or explosion play against us, so I could see Hall and MOS making a move.
