Congratulations on making comparisons on two completely different situations and trying to equate Cato's success with what Marve would have done. Montreal out-game-planned Calgary and Hamilton out-game-planned us. That's where the comparisons should end. Marve has the arm strength to complete a pass. Brohm doesn't. That's where the conversation should end. I guess you know more than Kyle Walters and Danny McManus about arm strength then. Because when Brohm was signed Walters said: "Danny played a huge role in this. Okay, you pull up meaningless quotes and the rest of us will judge Brohm based off of what we see with our eyes on the football media.

Some people here decided that Marve wasn't very good a long time ago, and will go to great lengths to defend that agenda even if it means trying to justify playing a sad sack QB who has no business playing in the CFL like Brohm.

Nobody is giving a "damng good football player" for Marve or Portis. Maybe we move one of them, but let's not make the mistake of overvaluing our own third stringers. We once gave up a first rounder for Spregon Wynn. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see Ray go back to Edmonton.

Why is Rennie Curran not employed? If Wild or Henoc don't cut in the near future I'd gladly take him.

Give me Maurice Leggett at Safety and Henoc Muamba or Ian Wild at linebacker and I think this defense is perfectly fine.

I know it's a long season, but I really like our chances at second place this year.
