Thank you for the updates gbill. Much appreciated.- Who gets the axe by Monday?

why do you get 2 points on a safety? Why 3 when you kick the ball through the uprights? Why 6 when you advance the ball into the endzone? Because it's in the rules that's why. I can't confirm but I believe the wording on the rule, is the team returning a missed fg surrenders a point for failing to return the ball from the the endzone. Not verbatim, but it's a little bit complex-ed than simply missing a field goal.- Who gets the axe by Monday?
And yet, June 2nd, he had this to say: Robert Marve wants to play. Ideally, Marve hopes that will be in Winnipeg. But if it's not, Marve has served notice to the Bombers front office he is prepared to take his quarterbacking services elsewhere at the end of the 2015 season. In an off-season during which the Bombers gave their first-string quarterback, Drew Willy, a raise and an extension and their second-string quarterback, Brian Brohm, a new contract, Marve rebuffed similar offers from the Bombers of an extension and served notice he intends to play out his option in 2015 and become a free agent at the end of this season. So what gives? Marve says he just wants to play and if it's not going to be in Winnipeg -- where head coach Mike O'Shea repeated Monday that Marve remains, at least for the moment, the club's third stringer -- then Marve would like to keep open his options of playing somewhere else. "I just want to see what can happen," Marve said Monday following the conclusion of Day 2 of Bombers training camp. "And I hope I can stay here in Bombers nation. I really like Winnipeg and I really like coach (offensive co-ordinator Marcel) Bellefeuille and everything we do on the offence. So I really hope everything works out... "But more than anything else, I want an opportunity. I think that's what everyone's goals are. Whatever you're doing, you want to do it to the best of your capabilities, wherever the best opportunity is. "But right now, I'm focused on helping this team in whatever way I can." http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/what-does-a-guy-have-to-do-305793111.html These sound like something's being said in 2 different ways. I believe if White would have stayed healthy last season he would have led the league in rushing, so it is a pretty big loss for the Esks. Not if Cornish would have been healthy for all 18 games- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
They should get a new trainer in Montreal;)- CFL Capgeek
LOL so far the Riders are way over the cap according to the site- Season opener in Regina
To be honest, when Rod Rust was running things, the Defense wasn't half bad. It was when he left that $%&* hit the fan- Bomber Camp Day #1 rating the best/worst
I didn't pay enough attention to him today to comment on how he looked today. I paid attention to the punt /kick return drill and didn't seem impressed. The way he caught the ball screamed fumble if it was a regular game. It's day 1 so in not going to freak out over it.- What's your projected starting lineup?
Booker T was quoted hearing him saying the N word but didn't care as he knew it wasn't filled with malice.- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
I think he's thinking of Craphonzo Thorpe- What's your projected starting lineup?

Surprised with the release of Tim Brown, he's a great return man. He's 30, or almost 30. He's primarily a return guy. Surely anybody much less Wally could find a younger guy to do the same.- Bombers were close to signing Marcus Ball
this is what i was thinking lol. iirc didnt we get that ball from TO as well? I'm not sure why, but I think we got Raphaol from B.C- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
He still trains young football players as part of his program, so a return to Winnipeg would be more of a "do we want him back' kind of thing- Bombers Add Import DB
What's an import?- CFL Supplemental Draft
Pretty strong argument. I was on the fence but you manged to sway me over- Training Camp Info
