I see what you are saying but I didn't see the same penetration on the TD run, that I did on the failed handoff. To me it looked like both choices were made before the play was ran, with one choice being the correct call for the play and one not being a good choice. Almost like they wanted to show read option but knew what they were doing priopr to the snap.

And I guess thats why every DC in the league would know it was coming and stop it as easily as they did. Assuming Goltz could have broke contain there is being optimistic....you already pointed out how soon the Lions players were "right there".

I wanted an upgrade.Logan has lost a step, it was obvious to anyone who watched the games. But even with that lost step he was better than Cauchy has been to this point.

JJ had a great game. really stood out IMO. Makes me think a little more about the theroy that was floating around out there that the guys in our secondary were screwing up because they were trying to cover for Cauchy every game. Cauchy looked freaking lost out there today and when BC scored on him the player wouldn't stop blabbing about how he beat Cauchy fo the score. If Cauchy was supposed to be an upgrade over Logan I haven't seen it so far.

Man trust me, the word is getting out. I have spoke to a bunch of OB members in the last few weeks and all of them cannot stand that guy anymore and I have sent PMs to tell them about this site. They are all passing it on to their friends on OB as well. I just logged in there again to see If Colin had responded to my messages but of course he did not, but I looked around and the whole site is just a few posters bitching . Shankman must have taken the weekend off but I suspect upon his return that half the active threads will either be deleted, locked or pp slapped for not staying on topic.

I would "Buck Pierce" Mr Mack......he has proven he can kind find talent here and there but he has also proven he cannot build a winning team. Bombers should work out a deal to get Mack to take a pay cut and re define his role. Making him a Scout or player personnel type guy or somtehting creatively similar and assitant to the GM, Who should be Neil McEvoy. His 18 years of experience in the CFL all the while learning and waching Wally would be the exact type of guy we need around here.

Well I had sent Shankman a message letting him know that he was driving long time posters away and he just wanted to blame the people that were leaving for " not following the rules" He also said that he get a lot of positive feedback, more so than negative. I call BS on that. I knew there were a bunch of people who were un happy with his antics but it is his arrogance and bullying that really drove me away. Of Course Colin never responded to my PM's either. That place was already like a ghost town and its only going to get worse with Shankman running things. Oh well, goodriddance.

Some of the backups weve seen the last few weeks have looked pretty solid. Do you put most that on raw talent or coaching? Mitchell , Collaros ,....how much developing has Tornoto done with him? I see the beneifit of having a solid QB coach but sometimes the QB just has to have some natural skill too.

Wow, when it rains it pours in Boomber land.....cant catch a break. That being said , Goltz has lots of time to heal up so i wouldn't rule him out yet.

And here I thought I was going to come here and post my frustrations with being singled out by Shankman.......low an behold he has been screwing with everyone. As others have done, I sent Colin a few PM's to try an let him know that his mod was ruining the OB expereince beyond anything the posters ever did. No response. I don't know what happened to Grumpy Old Man over there but when he was the main MOD things were a lot better. Hopefully Grumpy is around here now? Anyway, I havent been around here much but Shankman has inspired me to move on from OB. Kind of ironic when a mod who is supposed to maintain the quality of the site is actually the one destroying it.

I get what you're saying but lets put this in perspective. The OG quote from the Sun that started this was just saying that an interview or comment from Mack and Garth was denied.....On a Sunday, and only specifically to the Winnipeg Sun. Just because one media outlet calls the Bombers on a Sunday doesn't mean Mack is going to drop whatever he is doing and hold a press conference.

Does anyone really care what Garth, Bell or Mack have to say? All were gonna get from them is a bunch of canned cliches ......I prefer to see actions, rather than hear words.If talent is the issue , then bring in new guys. If coaching is the issue, then bring in new coaches.If the GM is the problem,then find a new one. A few quotes in a newspaper means nothing to me.

IIRC Washington played a little SAM last year and didn't look out of place. I'm looking forward to seeing what MM can do.....someone has to take over for JJ eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I just want to see what a healthy Poblah can do. It seems like he is constantly plagued by injury. So far Jade is looking like a better pick......and very few of us can say we saw that coming.
