Week 4 Takeaways
Hamilton is far better than Edmonton.

I don’t necessarily blame O’Day. Name recognition is a huge part of player evaluation in the CFL. Walters has been guilty of it himself with guys like Romby Bryant. The Elimimian signing is eerily reminiscent of the Korey Banks signing years ago. Luckily, O’Shea realized he was done after TC and booted the bum.

Week 4 Takeaways
The status of OCing in the league is almost as bad as the state of QBing. Jackson, McAdoo, Chapdelaine and Khari all have no business being professional OCs. It’s so bad that the Riders are pining for Lapo to be their saviour.

Oh and just as we all suspected, Elimimian is well past the point of being done. He looked ancient out there. Next game, we will see the same out of Arceneaux.

No one with an unbiased view is going to say Fajardo played okay. Even saying he was bad would be generous. The guy is an embarrassment. He’s been in the league four years so the rookie excuse doesn’t hold water.

Also Davis and Fajardo have a fairly large sample size of terrible play before one or two games of good play. It’s completely different.

Ok, you’re on pal.

Based on no data, as usual.

Duh.

I think we all can see the difference between a vet struggling to throw for 300 yards in a close game and a guy in his first career start throwing for 262 in a game that was never in any doubt.

I wish our OC would call a bomb when we’re up by 20 with 5 minutes left in the game.

Harker is a nice enough story and clearly extremely young and green but he will very clearly never be good.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
This is all true but it’s an interesting exercise to contemplate.

Fajardo is a proven failure. Franklin has had over a year to show he’s garbage. Arbuckle may ultimately never end up being anything but there’s good reason to assume he will be great. And with so, so many terrible QBs in the league right now even with the small sample size saying he’s fifth or sixth best is not ridiculous. Can you name six CFL QBs better than him for certain right now?
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Fajardo is exactly who we all knew he was.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Arbuckle is the real deal, folks.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Still early but maybe Arbuckle is as good as some very intelligent people said he was.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
No one will want him.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
For whatever reason, probably because TSN loves pumping the Argos, this guy will get the benefit of the doubt from everyone until he’s out of the league.

Rod’s obsession with the hook and ladder is one of his strangest quirks.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
He’s a CFL rookie, but he’s been around pro football a long time. The problem isn’t starting him, the problem is he sucks.

“Oh what a great move!” -Rod Black as the man is tackled immediately.

Montreal is better than both these teams somehow.

Toronto can’t stop anything. Reilly is doing himself no favours but this is an all time terrible offensive line.

Whoever thought the Odell cam was a good idea should be fired.
