Practice notes from August 28
Not sure about Hinds being worth the look see, seeing as he's failed a few times already, but in Hind sight.....it's still a bad idea.

Practice notes from August 28
Not really, with 'Brody McKnight-in-shining-armour' kicking 55 yard FGs in practice, we only have to get to the Sask 48 yd. line. Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB 29s Mcknight Showing off big leg at bomber practice, launching 55-yard field goals.

Can't tell you how long I waited to hear Douglas at RT.

Alex Hall To Be Fined
Makes sense to me. Not too much of a stretch from 'coach' to 'couch'.
-
Palardy and Isaac Anderson released
Well, we got bending over down pat and I don't mean for blocking...

Alex Hall To Be Fined
I believe, sometime in 2012, Jonathan Hefney became Jonathan Hef*me

Alex Hall To Be Fined
There was an offside call. Could have been a line call, but #96 was flagged. There was time for a substitution but Hall waved off the replacement and stayed in the game. Everybody knew at this point that there were going to be 'consequences'. Burke should have pulled him at this point and benched him for a few series. With our limited rosters and depth, that's all he could have done to address it immediately IMO.

Still want an "unlike" button You must mean dislike. I 'liked' your last post and there already is an option to unlike.

Boltus and two receivers
The only reps at IGF at this time are player reps. Practice starts tomorrow.

Report: Bombers to sign Aaron Kelly
That's when you're facing the O-Line, right?
-
Bombers add to the board
So how is it the FP get exclusive rights to all leaks?
-
Brody McKnight
But, what a name!

Does Burke Last the Year?
The cycle for Bomber head coaches goes -> co-ordinator, head coach, tsn analyst, coordinator. Lapo won't be getting a cheque from the Bombers next year but Burke will, so Lapo will start coaching again and Burke will take his place on TSN. Good theory. I like it! There's nothing like an analyst with a deadpan delivery who has to be prodded to give an answer. The best part is he only has to draw xx's on the chalkboard, seeing as he has no knowledge of offence. He can also take Buck with him to explain blitzes.

Brody McKnight
One thing I can say about Sandro is he's already converted more tricks plays in one try than we have in 3 years or more.

Boltus and two receivers
You know, these signings remind me of the way we used to conduct business. i.e., if there seems to be a problem, bring in somebody to take a look. You never know when you're going to tag that long ball when you're only expecting a bunt. So yes, I'm more optimistic, not necessarily for these particular guys...but for the thought that we're looking at improvement.
-
Boltus and two receivers
Haven't we been pining for free agents and guys who have been in the CFL? Too true.
-
Boltus and two receivers
You must mean Dudley in Dis-Guice...with glasses.
-
Boltus and two receivers
I almost don't want to know who it would be. And that might not change after they announce it.
-
Boltus and two receivers
Boltus and one veteran CFL 'bigger' receiver, plus a former NFL rec. plus an unnamed practice roster player, the position which, he wouldn't name. -----from the T Burke show.

Firing of the week ...
Won't Hamilton be surprised when they face a team that has a pro offence and defence, coached by real coaches?
-
Firing of the week ...
The only release this weekend will be that of the newly renamed 'Lack of Depth Chart'.

Blow it up some more......
If a QB truly has only 'so many licks' to have laid on him, then Reilly's shelf life is being shortened game by game.

Burke: Happy with Buck's play on Saturday
And here I was giving credit to the coaches when Buck was replaced by Goltz. No way it entered my mind he might be injured.

Firing of the week ...
It's called deceptive zone coverage and we're very good at it. Too good. Other teams just aren't falling for it or they just misreading what we clearly are signalling what is not open.
