Wow. Florida shatters its opening day record for in-person early voting, with 350,000+ ballots cast. That’s in addition to the more than 2.5 million mail-in ballots cast so far— *more than double* the 1.2 million cast during the same timeframe in 2016. - Brian Tyler Cohen

I’m super happy they have the mute button going, if only to watch the Orangeman turn red. But I am disappointed they didn’t go for my trap door suggestion.

Trump just said “you dumb bastards” about CNN’s reporting. “Always talking about the Virus” “They want people to forget about voting.”

Wah.. They sent a letter to the Campaign Commission to lodge this complaint and ended the letter saying, don’t send a response to Biden because they all know what the answer would be. Trump campaign demands last debate on Thursday be about foreign policy instead of announced topics.

👁‍🗨 Americans afraid of a fear they themselves have created. Note especially: 47% of Fox News viewers think it "makes our country better" when "Americans" protest unfairness. Only 10% of Fox News viewers think "it makes our country better" when "Black Americans" protest

Gotta have a mute or ejection button for Trump, and no bobble-head cheerleader right behind him..

Trump picked a bad day to trash Fauci... The NAM just awarded #TonyFauci a second citation -- the first in the history of the Academy of Medicine, for "outstanding service as a trusted advisor to six Presidents" and "firm leadership in the #COVID19 crisis" -- 1st ever to any scientist. Fauci: "I'm rendered speechless."

15 Days Trump..15 Days CNN - Kaitlan Collins, Kevin Liptak A frustrated and at times foul-mouthed President Donald Trump claimed on a campaign call that people are tired of hearing about the deadly pandemic which has killed more than 215,000 Americans and trashed Dr. Anthony Fauci as a "disaster" who has been around for "500 years." CNN Referring to Fauci and other health officials as "idiots," Trump declared the country ready to move on from the health disaster, even as cases are again spiking and medical experts warn the worst may be yet to come. “. "If there’s a reporter on, you can have it just the way I said it, I couldn’t care less." - Trump (CNN was given access to the call by a source.)

As more states begin in-person voting this week, there appears to be a trend of eye-popping turnout compared to this point in 2016. This is in addition to the record-shattering interest in vote-by-mail. Here is a collection of data from some states that show the best available comparisons to 2016: Georgia: More than 687,000 people have already voted in-person, as of Friday night. That is a 62% increase compared to this point of in-person voting in 2016, according to the Georgia Secretary of State. North Carolina: Over 333,000 people voted in-person on the first day of in-person voting. This is a 10% increase compared to the first day in 2016, according to the North Carolina State Board of Elections. Illinois: More than 900,000 people have already voted by mail and in-person, as of Friday. This is a 400% increase compared to this point of voting in 2016, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections. Tennessee: More than 273,000 people already voted in-person and by-mail, as of Thursday night. That is a 91% turnout increase from this point in 2016, according to the Tennessee Secretary of State. Kansas: More than 3,200 people have already voted in-person, as of Thursday afternoon. This is a 69% increase compared to this point of in-person voting in 2016, according to the Kansas Secretary of State. https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/us-election-news-10-16-2020/index.html

It’s National Character Counts Week. And I support and recognize the importance of this. What I don’t support is who’s announcing it. Can you guess?

I gotta tell you, I thought Trump had planted that lady that you see over his left shoulder at the town hall meeting, because all you can see, all night long was her, shaking her head yes with answers that she agreed with Trump, and no, for the opposite. Really distracting. Well this lady has been identified and she’s an immigration lawyer. Hmmph. Anyways they secured a better name for her than I had...bobble head. So far, Savannah Guthrie has won the ‘modi’ for best moderator in this year’s debates IMO These people, Trump rally followers, would have really enjoyed public hangings in the village square. They were born in the wrong era. So which is it? “I know nothing about Qanon”. Or “what I do know is they’re strongly against pedophilia” Donald Trump was gone within minutes. Joe Biden stayed for **TWO HOURS** after his town hall. I think we all know who really cares about the people. - Veterans For Biden Why is it OK for a president to tweet or re-tweet. He’s the President of the USA, not a high school.

“No aspect of Donald Trump’s business has been the subject of more speculation than his debt load. Lots of people believe the president owes $400 million, especially after Trump seemed to agree with that figure on national television Thursday night. In reality, however, he owes more than $1 billion.“ https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2020/10/16/donald-trump-has-at-least-1-billion-in-debt-more-than-twice-the-amount-he-suggested/
