Boy, did you ever not make your point with the nearly dozen or so posts from Bomber fans. And thanks for that classic "I'm a realist" line. That's always a beaut..

Game 81 : Jets @ Sharks - West Coast Story
Geez, I wish these Jets were in the playoffs...they're an exciting team to watch now. And that Mark Snipefele....that guy is good. Byfuglien 4 points...a three game winning streak...setting the tone for next year. Snipefele line - 30 points in the last 8 games.

Personally, I can't wait to fire the next guy after MOS, so we can see who we can get in 3-4 years..

Russian hockey hit by mass doping scandal
In the Men's World Curling Championship, the Russian team apparently all "got sick" and the entire lineup was replaced just days before the event started. Go figure.

- Doug Brown Explains
This is it in a nutshell. We, as fans, have to see the improvement, because we're still being told there is no concern at all in their O-line. MOS just reiterated this very comment in a recent radio interview. They like their Canadian talent and the imports that they've brought in. He mentioned Manase Foketi as someone they've had their eyes on since 2014, Jace Daniels as being healthy and Jemarcus Hardrick as a good pickup. Fine. But now we have to see it..- Doug Brown Explains
I expect Euclid Cummings will be the one who provides the spunk that motivates Shologan and Thomas to play extra well, along with our all-star Westerman. We have enough eyes on that final 4 DL spot that I'm sure we will fill it..more than adequately. That's the beauty of having talent on the line. It won't be Westerman alone this year, he will have help, which also helps the LBs. Domino effect.- Doug Brown Explains

This season will mark the very definition of competitiveness. The movement of players and coaches and the even(ing) out of the schedule. All the QBs are back now, in the West, and we're not the only team who will have 'lag time' to worry about. On offense, for all teams, there will be new receivers and in some cases, new OCs and Head Coaches. 3 ominous factors says Doug Brown. Bring them on...- Doug Brown Explains
Oh, oh, media bashing. Awaiting words from our resident media-defender anytime now...- 2016 Draft Standings
"During the final 20 games of the season, improve the draft lottery odds for those bottom-dwelling teams that win games rather than lose games during that stretch. In other words, the more points you pick up in the standings during that final stretch, the better your odds in the lottery. It's almost like reversing the standings for the final quarter of the schedule." This is the idea brought up by Ray Ferraro, now a sports analyst with TSN. This idea bears looking into if you ask me. Nothing against Conner, but he'll have a ways to go in terms of experience before he climbs into the top 6. Armia, for example has a heck of a head start over any newbee. Not to mention Dano and even Burmistrov. For the first time, in a long time, there will be more talent on the third line..just by default. But all these young guys will still have to " learn the ropes" before applying for top 6 access. Guys like Copp, Petan, Burmistrov, Dano, Armia, Lipon and the new draftee will all line up somewhere in the lineup and fight off veterans like Thorburn, Halischuk, Lowry, and Stafford?? Oh, the possibilities..- Around The League Off Season Discussion
Gary Lawless will be better..Paul Friesen will be worse..and Rod Pedersen will be Rod Pedersen...- Jets Sign Tanev
I like Burmistrov. He's a responsible player and a hard worker. He can't seem to break through the scoring web that he sometimes gets entangled in, but has crazy potential..still. He's getting more ice time so it looks like Maurice and co. are taking a good look at him now, for the future. It won't be easy for new players to unseat him, defensively, faceoff wise and PK, but if they do..we're in for a good ride in the near future.- Around The League Off Season Discussion

Welcome back to Winnipeg Mr. Stone. Now that's how you throw a body check. One of the best hits I've seen, at least on TV. Timing is everything in a hit like that, and Buff did it right. It brings to mind the angst we feel as football fans, as we picture our middle linebackers hitting like that...- Around The League Off Season Discussion
I do find it hard to believe that any organization, be it private or public, would intentionally hire people who they don't feel can do a proper job. Mistakes have been made (Mack over Barker) but it wasn't with malicious intent. And the latest hire - Miller, is thought to be a good combination of business/football person. Do you think he intentionally hired Walters based on finances alone? Knowing full well the general public want a better org. from top to bottom. That he puts his reputation on line to save a little cash? Or did he actually feel they had their man in house already? Has Miller not supported football operations monetarily as much, and way more than has happened in the recent past? I don't believe they're hanging back, sitting on their wallets, hoping to save a little cash. There's a belief that this group, Miller, Walters, and MOS, are the right combination. We can only hope that this belief comes to fruition. And soon..- Herb Zurkowsky: CFLPA President Scott Flory May Be In Trouble With Rank & File Due To His Lack Of Action Over Mandatory Drug Testing

5 games in the regular season is likely..but it doesn't mean much. 10 games, including playoffs would mean so much more..- Jets Sign Tanev
Interesting that with a number of teams circling Tanev's wagon, that he should consider Winnipegas his top choice. A 2-way deal will help the Moose more than the Jets for the near future, but it still is a good sign by the Jets.. - Doug Brown Explains
