Lucas really exposed himself as an awful writer. And without his wife to edit, there was no one to make sense of his nonsense. Portman is a good actress and she was dreadful. I actually heard recently that he actually tried to get Lawrence Kasdan to do some re-writes on the stories and he said no.

Flash and Arrow are awesome, and they're adding a third show, Legends of Tomorrow. All three shows are part of the same universe. So far Flash has yet to disappoint. Some people didn't like the last season of Arrow, but I enjoyed all 3. Oh, and I'm liking Supergirl too. But I've only see the pilot. And I watch Star Wars Rebels with the kids.

FYI, saw Hotel Transylvania 2. I thought it was ok, but the kids loved it. I liked the first one better myself.

OMG I'm glad they didn't push it to May 4. I NEEDS IT NOW!!!! But I do get why they want it there seeing as how most of them were released around that date. I'm thinking JJ doesn't have as much free reign as he says, he probably is saying that just to save face. I'm sure they have a plan for all 3 movies so he has to follow that plan. I'm sure he was allowed some free reign to do certain things, but not to do whatever he wanted. You can only bend a story so far without it breaking the whole story. I love Star Trek, but I think they were desperate to get something to work so he was allowed to mess around with things a lot more and do whatever he wanted.

Then we dust off our torches and pitchforks and storm the gates. Duh. He better not be here next year.

I watched it way back in the summer when it was first out, my thoughts were that it wasn't as bad as I was expecting (I expected the worst) but I felt that it was too needlessly bloody and violent for no reason. The rest of them weren't as gratuitous in the deaths. Yeah same. It kept me entertained and Chris Pratt did way better then I thought. I was going to let my kids watch the movie, until I saw the killing scenes. They were pretty brutal. I'll stick to letting them watch other things until their a bit older I think.

Has anyone watched Blind Spot yet? Haven't checked it out yet but I plan to. Flash, Arrow, Shield and Gotham are my comic book favs. Big Bang, Scorpion, Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine Nine and Once Upon A Time are our others. We don't get to watch everything every week, but we just watch them when we can. Jessica Jones is going to be on Netflix in November (this is the next part of Marvel's Netflix shows continuing from Daredevil). Not sure what powers other then super strength they're giving her. Also, not sure if I mentioned it (I think I did on the last page), but the 4400 is pretty good as well on Netflix.

He did a great job last night. I hope he remains this good.

Watched The Intern this weekend with my wife. If you're going on a date movie, it's pretty funny, there's quite a few "guy moments" in there that make it worth it. Watched Jurassic World. It was pretty good...except for the whole "taming" thing. And the end was just lame. And I won't go into it since I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it.

Geez what a copycat. I know but you know how it goes, people tend to copy those who have had great successes. Oh crap! Damn you.
