I'll be shocked if we don't pick up some scrub Nationals (still sounds weird to me) from other team's cuts.

There is some fight in these guys that is for sure. I don't hold out much hope for a winning season, but I think we will be competitive. After the gutting this team has been through that's about all we can ask.

Most other teams have guys that have thrown hundreds if not thousands of passes in the CFL. Willy needs reps. Give him the entire first half, IMO. At least yup.

I know it gets lots of hype on most 'best of tv' type threads but I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, The Wire is bloody outstanding.

Just go back and look at the team Chevy got. What a mess. How many of the original Atlanta prospects 'in the pipeline' at the time of the move to Winnipeg ever amounted to anything (or will)? None. Zero. The cupboard was bare. Things are 1000% better now. This team has a future. That being said, I'd love to take advantage of a battered Oilers organization and steal one of their young goal scoring machines for a song....

I don't know what we offered Butler and Bourke, but the fact that we whiffed on both of those guys (particularly Bourke) and signed an import receiver for a bundle of cash concerns me. Does this group want to win, or did they just want to 'make a splash'? Sorry for being negative, but our NI depth is ugh and our O-line is going to get someone killed.

Did we just go backwards on our Online? I'm not liking this.

I'll be happier when it's signed sealed and delivered so to speak.

Well, whatever band of misfits and castoffs we end up with this year, I hope they have a huge chip on their shoulder and play like it. They are going to have something to prove.

The thought of the 2013 Bombers featuring MB as OC, Etch as DC and Henry F%*$^ Burris as our starter, after having essentially a clean slate and a pile of cash to work with, is incredibly, unbelievably depressing.

We should have taken Banks in the Ottawa dispersal draft anyway. Better late than never.
