Good for Lions management. Even better for their fans. Hosting the Grey Cup this year, the Lions have a chance to pack the house. Despite being in first place and their number 1 QB almost ready to come back, they make a move to get even better. Hopefully next years host takes the same approach 😉

Is Shoen done for the year or just the regular season? Is there any chance of a return? If not how much of his contract goes against the cap?

What are everyone’s thoughts at LB? How do you see that playing out and could their be any surprises there?

Oh I definitely agree. I suppose I just maybe be the minority that every off-season I am trying to picture who will be the on the game day roster and who will be filling in the vacant positions. I’ve heard a little bit of bomber news and I guess now I’m getting a bit greedy. It’s been a long off season lol.

True. I suppose I’m just getting excited about the upcoming season and curious how they’re going to fill some of these holes. As difficult it is to see some of the older guys go a transition was much needed. I guess this is phase 1.

Kind of frustrating not hearing that the Bombers are talking to any other teams free agents. I’m sure they have had some discussions, but as a fan it would be nice to hear something.

I agree…unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be much Bomber talk other than all the players looking to jump ship.

So who’s still out there that the Bombers may have some interest in signing?

Is Brandon Zylstra still available? Might be a good idea to try and bring in another receiver. Anyone hear any time frame we can expect some of our receivers back? Are any of them done for the year?

It’s not Zylstra and Kabongo as I had hoped lol, but bombers do add two to the roster.

I absolutely love our home and away jerseys. I was kind of hoping the Third Jersey would have been primarily gold and the helmets a reflective gold or blue. Something completely different than anything in the past but keeping with the blue and gold colour scheme and of course the W.

The two QBs on the field rule is perfect for the team that land’s Streveler if/when he returns from the NFL.
