What has that got to do with him? If his name was Edward Byner do you think somebody on here might ask if he was the son of Ernest Byner who used to play for the Browns. Is the fact the guys Dad played in the NFL now unspeakable because of the actions of his Father post retirement? Based only off the last pre season game BC looked real good. The receivers made all their catches, they have great rbs, Glenn looked comfortable and had time to throw. The defense has great lbs, good secondary...good returns on special teams. I also thought Khari called a good game. I'm thinking BC easily contends. Hell Calgary had there starters in and they looked shaky as hell.

So do the Blue pick up a back for the first few weeks if Ford and Cotton are down? Mallett, Charles, maybe someone else?

Perhaps Montreal is out of synch because of the Worman firing? Also Troy Smith did not look comfortable at all....he has the tools but as the game went on he looked more and more like McPherson. The Montreal secondary looked awful, I'm not sure if they were starters or back ups but they were just out of place all night long. Burris made his receivers look great because he had time to throw (Montreal didn't really blitz him for the most part) and his passes were right on the money.

I'd rather have Willy and the first round pick over Glenn.... it just wouldn't of made sense to give up that pick just to get him. Long term we are better off with two guys who can hopefully play for us in the next 5 seasons. For BC it was a no brainer... Lulay is done and Glenn will buy them at least two more seasons.

I definitely agree that fighting should be removed from Hockey... no need for it and if someone wants to watch two guys go at it then they should watch UFC or Glory. I definitely can vouch for professional fighters having long term damage from multiple blows to the head.... you don't have to be concussed to have long term damage if you keep getting hit in the head. Regardless with Telegin... if he is having any kind of issues mentally post concussion he should quit hockey altogether.... it's not worth long term damage just to cash in some big pay days.

I dont know about the hockey thing... I think lots of the issues with hockey brawlers is that they are mental before they start their career and a large Amount of them were drinking , doing drugs and on some kind of roids. I think with hockey lots of the guys like Probert live very similar lifestyle to wrestlers. Very self destructive.

I like BC's 4th string RB... Anatolin or however it's spelled... guy has some fantastic moves in the open field.... the Blue really should look at him if he gets snipped

Nik Lewis is massive... I'll be amazed if he lasts the year that belly is huge. Lulay is done... half the time they panned the camera to him he was rubbing his shoulder. Glenn will be the guy for this year and maybe next.... Benavides is one angry fat guy...so angry I'm guessing he has a heart attack this year. Chris Shultz is still a moron in regards to suggesting that Andrew Harris might get cut.

Rod Black still loves Bo Bowling. Lapo has good content but his delivery is so boring. Troy Smith definitely stunk more as the game went on. This is good for us! DeMarco getting no protection. Burris looked great... Would like to see what would happen had Montreal blitzed.

I'm watching on my PVR I'm only at the 2nd quarter but yes Smith looks like Bishop 2.0 but I wouldn't give up on him. I think the Al's greater concerns are the poor secondary and weak o line. Smith isn't awful he's light years better then crap like Hall... He just doesn't look settled. He'll get better with experience.
