Marve has more value than Portis at this point Popp will be stupid if he settle for Portis.- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
would like to see Edem here- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
It is possible that their plan @ #4 has been Jordan Yantz all along and that the battle for a QB position has been between Marve and Portis. Keeping a qb you're not giving reps to? That just seems a dumb idea when trying to develop a player. Yantz will get enough practice reps if he's #4.- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
I would think they will sit Richards, not sure if he is game-ready ?- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
I'm not sure if Tyler will accept a PR spot. He may be hidden into the 1 game IR for depth. Dile on the other hand, should be cut. He's just a waste of roster spot. I'll put Collins (or Harlan) on the 21 and put Richardson on the PR.- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
Agree. If Warden and Morgan has any eligibility left, maybe they send them back to the CIS. I guess, Yantz fate depends on what's the Bomber's plan on Marve and Portis.- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
He might suffered a concussion-like symptoms after having a haircut yesterday.- [MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
As I heard this morning, Lattanzio will play some snaps on the inside DL. I'm really liking the looks of our depth chart compared to last year. Man, truly, Kyle Walters is a very good pickup of the Bombers.- TSN broadcasting the Bomber game now?
Drew Edwards ✔ @scratchingpost #Ticats sitting six defensive starters vs. #Bombers: Lawrence, Hall, Laurent, Butler, Hickman, Reed. Can't afford more injuries. #CFL- Season opener in Regina
My 3 wishes for our pre-season opener in Regina. 1. A Bombers' win. 2. No (major) injuries especially to any Bomber players. 3. No (big) play allowed for Nic Demski.- TC Practice June 17th
I have the impression that this Richardson guy, will take many UC penalties, if he's in the game.- TC/Practice June 16th
Sounds like Zach will not be 100% this year, hopefully they they can use him in rotation and spare further agravation to his injury. Who else besides Jake Thomas can rotate inside? we still have Collins and Harlan on the roster. or we could trade for Westerman and play him besides his older bro.- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
Im a sucker for family reunion. I hope KW trade for him. I'd want to have a really good idea of what shenanigans he's been up to before bringing him here. No need to introduce any bad apples into the barrel. Wally can be a real hardcase, so it might be a lot of fuss about very little. I sure big brother being here would help keep him in check...he can smack him around if need be Agree. For trade, how 'bout send them Marve/Brohm and the rights to Mulumba/Bilukidi. Got a feeling Stamps wil get him though.. for a kicker.- Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
Im a sucker for family reunion. I hope KW trade for him.- Who gets the axe by Monday?
that 65 does not include the non-counters.How many non counter are there, like 3 or 4?We have at least 8 - Chungh, Richards, Morgan, Normand, Lattanzio, Warden, Yantz and Waggoner.I'm not sure if Griffiths and Reaves count as non-counters. Wow I didn't realize it was that high. So we could still see 10+ cuts. Can't see them keeping/hiding any more than 8-10 on the IR. I can see them sending Morgan and Warden back to university. And maybe Lattanzio too since he's learning a new position. Depending on what will happen to either Marve/Portis, Yantz will probably end up in IR or PR.- Who gets the axe by Monday?

that 65 does not include the non-counters. roster count is 74 right now. need to cut 18 players on Saturday. I'm assuming some of those will go to the IR.- Who gets the axe by Monday?
We're met the 65-limit already. This Saturday is the final cutdown date to 46-man active + 10-man practice roster and injury roster- Training Camp / Practice - June 15
Thanks Oh Captain, my Captain.- Training Camp / Practice - June 15
Would like to see some insights on the remaining battles at camps ... RB, WIL, WR (besides Moore), SB (besides Denmark) and probably weakside HB (Washington's) I'm guessing the starting MLB(Hurl), RG (Chungh), RT (Daniels) and import DE Peach) are all settled.- First Cut Down Day - list of players released
In case of West, "you can't make the club from the tab", he hasn't been on the field since the start of TC. Bauming speculates he will stick around.- Who gets the axe by Monday?
Last year's ST Captain, I believe... Unfortunate for us. Pontbriand is last years ST captain. I believe. I got a feeling this year it will be Chad Rempel.- Who gets the axe by Monday?
I don't like Greg Peach, but with a lot of guys competing for his spot, he obviously elevated his play. Tad Gibson or Derrell Johnson may still end up as the DI on DL. - Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
