Right. And what I was trying to emphasize with Mason, is that a player can choose to walk away from the game due to concussions, even if he is medically cleared to play. Many athletes are starting to make that decision. Mason's comments after his November concussion lead me to believe that he is worried about the long-term effects and may be starting to weigh the cost/benefit of continuing to play pro hockey. Surely suffering another concussion so soon after the initial one will only make him consider retirement even more.

Yeah that wasn't out when I posted originally. So that makes 3 concussions and this latest one is coming right on the heels of the last. Not good.

It's the second concussion of his career. I don't mean to say that this one would be career-ending, medically. But we've seen in football, players retiring young because they are concerned about the long-term effects of concussions. I get the impression that Mason is feeling somewhat the same way... very concerned about the implications of his latest concussion and what might happen if he suffers another. And it may lead to him walking away from the game. Total speculation on my part, but that's just the vibe I'm getting right now.

They bring in extra bodies every year at every position... doesn't mean the starters are losing their jobs or leaving.

I doubt both LeFevour and Davis will be in camp. Either we re-sign LeFevour and cut Davis, or we don't re-sign LeFevour. I'd be shocked and pretty disappointed if they are both here.

Most teams only dress 6 OL on gameday, with the odd exception dressing 7. I think you'd find 5 National OL on the 46-man roster of a team starting 3, with perhaps another on the IR and another on the PR. We have the depth to start 3. I'm less concerned about depth and more concerned about whether we have a third man who is good enough to be the opening day starter at guard.

According to polls that turned out to be wildly inaccurate. That's a pretty big leap and I can't see many voters making it. It was never about Trump. It was always about "anti-establishment", "anti-PC", and "anti-Democrat". Trump himself is vile in pretty much every way. I don't think the perception of his character could possibly sink any lower. But it didn't matter. I believe more people voted against Hilary than for Trump. It doesn't matter now and it's impossible to know for sure. But this seems like wishful thinking more than anything. Trump has survived scandal after scandal. What's one more?
