Miles or Marshall...
Talking about OL Anthony Barrette who just signed with Ottawa after a couple seasons on Montreal's PR.

Miles or Marshall...
The guy has never dressed for a CFL game in 3 years since being drafted... Not sure missing out on him is a big deal

Gary Etcheverry interviewed for Bombers DC job
Maybe. But there is a pretty wide disparity between what coaches have to deal with from the media here versus any other place in the CFL. Winnipeg is the only place where the media really "grills" the coaches and GM... in Toronto, BC, etc, nobody cares enough and in Regina the media eats right out of the Riders' hands regardless of how poor they are doing. Even in 2011 when the Riders were 5-13, it was tough to hear a negative word spoken about the Riders in that province. Nope, the amount of media bullshit that coaches have to deal with is highest in Winnipeg and its really not even close. Im pretty sure the fans are more sensitive to this than the coaches. Obviously. But who's to say it wouldn't be a factor for some coaches? It very well could be.

You have no authority here, doctor.

BMO field possibly being upgraded
You're right, the Raiders actually play in the only stadium that is now home to both NFL and MLB teams. The San Diego Padres no longer play in Qualcomm Stadium, now it's just the Chargers (from the picture above).

Mack was a great GM, possibly one of the best of our time.

Rate the Bombers Offensive Line
Unfortunately the crop of free agent offensive linemen is looking pretty thin. If Tsoumpas and Bourke both re-sign with their teams, the only Canadian guys remaining are Andrew Jones, Wayne Smith, Steve Myddelton, and Scott Mitchell. Not sure if any of those guys can help us, and its not even any guarantee that they make it to free agency anyways. If the Bombers want to improve their OL, it's going to have to be through a trade or the draft, or hope that Pencer or Swiston take a big step forward.

Gary Etcheverry interviewed for Bombers DC job
Well the head coach of ASU makes 2.3 million, so its probably a fair guess to say Randolph makes more there as the DC than he could here. Doesn't mean he would never want to come here..for some people money is not everything! Yep that's true.

Gary Etcheverry interviewed for Bombers DC job
CFL-experienced candidates look pretty sparse, maybe we should be looking south... perhaps someone who at least played in the CFL but is now a defensive coordinator in the NCAA.

I'd certainly take Marshall over Etchevary, and Reed over the both of em! Yeah, I'd take crabs over syphillis and gonorrhoea too. Really? Are you sure?

Ottawa Announces Entire Coaching Staff
That's right, just the GM... Rick Campbell is the head coach. I don't see an OL coach. I wonder if Mike Gibson will be taking on that role as well.

Stubler New Stamps Defensive Coordinator
Walters acknowledged yesterday at his press conference that they had spoken to Stubler about the DC job.

Report: Morley and Renaud extended
Fine with these signings until we find someone better.

Kyle Walters Expansion Draft Presser
Mack will always get credit from me for picking Muamba when almost everyone believed he should've went with Mitchell. As a friendly reminder, I was the first guy to pump Muamba's tires... I wanted Edem too. And Coehoorn. Just sayin'... I would have protected Kohlert. Everything you say is based off of what analysts have written so I have no idea how you could claim to be the first.

Waiver draft transactions
I'm actually pretty pleased with the Brescacin pick up, I hope he signs here. Tall, fast receiver who led the CIS in receiving yards in 2012, and was 3rd in 2011. He was stuck behind some very good receivers in Hamilton, I think he'll have a real shot to make our team eventually.

Cortez and Lapo both say no to BC
Are you secretly Aardvark? Hell no

Cortez and Lapo both say no to BC
Where does the national media say that the Bombers are still whe worst possible team a coach can go to? You have to live outside Winnipeg & the Province like I do to really know how they feel. So you don't mean the national media, you mean the Calgary media.

Cortez and Lapo both say no to BC
Super jealous if the Esks get Wylie

BIg rumor concerning DC position
I don't think it's fair for you to expect Stubler to be interested in your life, especially while he's working.

Labbe Retires
And just in case anyone was wondering... Kirk Penton @PentonKirk1m Pierre-Luc Labbe isn't retiring to avoid expansion draft. He's following his dad's footsteps and becoming a police officer. #Bombers
