Bombers release RB Will Ford
Saskatchewan and Edmonton are both still trying out running backs. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a shot in either place. Maybe Ottawa but Ford brings a pretty similar skill set to Chevon Walker so I don't know if he would help them out too much.

Comparative analysis - How bad is the Bombers OL?
Safe to say they've still got a lot of work to do.

Kyle Walters Greatest Challenge
Hell I would take out Denmark and roll with 3 Canadian receivers. We are already using Kohlert and JFG well enough, the question is can Watson be a bigger impact than Denmark and I say yes he can.

Won't be easy against that Esks D-Line.

Should The CFL Impose Cap Limits On Amount Of Flags Officials Can Throw?
Hard cap at 20 penalties per game. Then The Purge commences.

He's not going to be caught!!! ...or is he?! Yes!!!!

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
Surely we could have restored the boat and used it on the OL. Another bonehead move.

Bombers Trade For Abraham Kromah
Agreed. I worry that Kuale is one of those guys that Etcheverry/O'Shea have an irrational love for though. He can line up at defensive end too! Wild has the additional benefit of being our long-snapper. He isn't going anywhere. I don't know who else can long snap, but we definitely don't have anyone who has done it in a game before. Would be a super risky move to take off Wild. Kuale is on the hot-seat.

Alouettes 25 - Bombers 23

Gavins fined for dirty hit on Drew Willy
Keep in mind that if you watch SportsCenter right after the game, they always show a 5 or 6 minute post game segment with the panel and also show interviews with players/coaches from the game.

I like TSN 1290's show.

Bomber Depth Chart Week 3 vs Montreal
Man looking at that depth chart, Montreal still has a very solid team. I hope we are not underestimating them.

Bomber Depth Chart Week 3 vs Montreal
Second in the league on punt returns (total yards) .. and averaging almost 10 yards a clip on his returns .. he's also fielded more punts than any other returner to this point (15, next closest is 11) Fourth in kickoff returns (total yards) .. middle of the pack with respect to kickoff return average .. What's nice to see is that Hajrullahu is leading the league in yards per kickoff .. 66.8 yards .. it's nice to see teams working with a bit longer field this season. 3rd in punt returns among regulars, 4th in kickoff return average among regulars. I'm not a fan of removing Woods. Cotton did not catch a punt in pre-season, let them all hit the turf, had one nice return off one he let bounce and roll. Washington is either going to make a big play for the Bombers or one for their opponent when he's returning. Risky move IMO when we have a guy who is not only safe but a consistent threat. I could see Denmark or Feoli-Gudino end up returning punts after a few hit the turf. I would have to agree... Woods has shown he can protect the ball, make smart decisions, and get positive yards. Trying to hit a home run with guys like Washington and Cotton when we already have a guy doing a decent job feels like "A bird in hand is worth two in the bush." It might work out or it might fail spectacularly. I guess now is the time in the season to find out, though.

Early Top 10 Ranking for 2015 Draft
IMO starting 4 or 5 Canadians on the OL is an outdated and overrated idea. A Canadian starter is worth just as much no matter where they start. It used to be feasible to cram all your Canadians on the OL, but defensive lines have greatly overtaken the offensive lines in recent years from a pure talent perspective.

# 26 Carl Fitzgerald
Sounds like Kelly is playing so Carter will continue to back up. How is Cotton getting on the roster then? Everyone in the media seems pretty sure he's going to play, I'm starting to wonder if he's just being added to the 46 in place of Anderson going on the 1 game IR. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. O'Shea was adamant that Kelly will play and Anderson will not, but played it coy regarding the rest of the roster changes.

The Winnipeg Media
Leibl thinks he is the most intelligent man in Winnipeg radio because he pays attention to the American sports media and tries to parrot their opinions.

Jerome Messam signs with Riders
Don't think Messam fits in with the new culture here. That's probably all it comes down to.

New Bomber culture
What's not to like? There probably wouldn't be a Hamilton team right now if it wasn't for him.

No Zach Anderson on Friday
Meh. He could have missed last week, instead he misses this week. Don't see a big difference.
