I do remember all that! I also remember the other 80% of the time when he totally disappears. I don't mean to disrespect JFG, I like the guy.... but if he's our best... I'll take Gore, Coehoorn, Durant, Bagg, Sinopoli, or Fantuz over him which represents the majority of the league having at least one better Canadian receiver than we do. That's not a good thing guys.

The catch against the Riders was nice, for sure. Can he do it again? There's a reason he's been stapled to the bench most of his career.

I had no problem with them until Kohlert started dropping the ball every time they throw to him. His best quality was his hands and it seems like he's lost that, so what exactly is he in the lineup for? Certainly not speed or blocking. And JFG simply isn't good enough to be an every-week starter, we all know that. Our Canadian receivers are not good. The fact that we don't use them much does not excuse that... it highlights it. We need to improve there.

I generally believe you need 10 defencemen in the organization who are capable of playing in the NHL and I think we have that. For as much as people made out last game to be the measuring stick for the Bombers, I think we learn a lot more about them in this game. Can they bounce back from a tough loss? Can they win a huge game at home with big playoff implications? Once again the defence needs to step up and the offence needs to play turnover-free football. Limit Reilly's running ability... big game for the defensive line and linebackers. Looking forward to a barnburner, a real hootenanny.

Fragile seems a little harsh. He has played in 80+% of our games since he got to Winnipeg. I'm very encouraged by what we're seeing out of Morrissey. IMO this is a crucial year for him and he has to be very good. He is going to play top-four minutes all year unless he plays himself out of it.

I think I watched about 60 minutes of World Cup hockey in total throughout the tournament. And most of that was Team North America. I chose Jets preseason and Bengals-Dolphins Thursday Night Football over the World Cup final. It just wasn't a compelling event.

Why would they have to compete with WWE? Are TNA and ROH competing with WWE? I'd say they are complementary rather than real competition. It would be nice to see a promotion that is a step above TNA and ROH but not quite at WWE's level.

I slow down around school zones 24 hours a day ever since 2 foolish kids darted out from between 2 parked cars a couple years ago. If I had been going even 50 kmh they would have been dead or horribly injured. At 35-ish kmh I was able to slam on my brakes and stop just short of plowing them down. Kids are so unpredictable. I guess that's not limited to school zones though.
