Set aside the ridiculous "fancy stats" moniker and realize that all we're really saying in this thread is that the team generates more offence than we give up when Wheeler is on the ice. More than any other player. Although I'm sure you guys are super awesome at judging good D zone play (that was sarcasm), you can't deny the FACT that Wheeler is our best forward when it comes to generating offence for and limiting offence against.

You said limiting free speech AND undermining the institutions. One does not necessarily imply the other. Undermining the media is not limiting free speech. He is undermining the institutions, yes, but not limiting free speech. Why lie and exaggerate to make your point? It just makes honest, intelligent liberals look bad.

Who's limiting free speech? Haven't seen that yet but I'd love to hear some examples, which I'm sure you have if you're making such a bold claim.

Yeah the difference is that we already had a starter and we traded for half a season of Glenn as a backup. The Riders have no starter at the moment and are dishing out a signing bonus and more for Glenn. Maybe Glenn will end up being insurance. Maybe not. But it's not the same.

Having a god-awful PK and taking the most, or close to the most, penalties in the league is basically the whole reason this team struggles every year.

D zone? Wouldn't you say the best form of defense is keeping it out of the D zone to begin with? Something Wheeler has been our best at for, oh, 4 years now.

There are people who do not like to use the word "mild" in reference to a concussion but you'd be hard-pressed to find a doctor who doesn't agree that there are differing degrees of a concussion.
