  1. He got let go from TSN 1290 because it sounded like his dog died everytime he opened his mouth

No I'm saying the IWC is all the people who ***** about Roman Reigns non-stop, and they're not buying his merch, obviously.

Classic IWC opinion. I guess all that Roman Reigns merch just sells itself, cuz it sure ain't the IWC buying it!

Sharks have had a tough time with the Oilers for years, even when the Oilers sucked. That matchup is death for them. Blue jackets have no chance against the Pens.

Old grey swish just ain't what she used to be
  6. 4 should be SJ Sharks or STL Blues, then Bombers at 5.

You can even hear it in the announcing... I remember watching Smackdown a few weeks back and JBL was like "Mauro you don't know anything!! That's why you're not married and you never will be!!!!" Mauro just went completely silent. I was like, geez that's a little harsh, even for a heel announcer. Although I certainly agreed with Jonathan Coachman telling off Meltzer. Someone tweeted a line I thought was pretty funny and incredibly true: LOL. **** Meltzer and the IWC.
  8. When's the last time anyone cared what Adam Wazny had to say? Used to say he's the biggest loser in Winnipeg sports media but ever since he got booted out of that group, he's just an everyday loser.
  9. I park & ride to work every day!

Everyone gets in fights with Sin Cara.
  11. Walking. To IGF. Yes, wonderful solution for what, 2% of people in the city? Blue collar Danny doesn't take his family to Jets games. That's the whole point. The Bombers want that market. Your last point... I don't know, if you don't think there are people in Winnipeg just scraping by, then that's your illusion, I won't ruin it for you.
  12. Park and ride is optional but transportation to the game is not. If you remove park and ride you remove the most cost-effective option. If you increase the price, then people will have no choice but to pay more. The answer to the next two questions are that Jets games are not affordable for families so that's irrelevant. We're not talking about an extra 5 dollars impacting Joe Businessman or Billy the Drunk, we're talking about an extra 5 dollars per person for blue-collar Danny to take his whole family.
  13. Concessions are optional, transportation is not.

Aiden English has been working singles matches for awhile. I guess they were planning on this? Another NXT team that got a big pop on entering WWE and then lost all fan support rather quickly. Not that they ever really had much of a chance.

At this point the gender pay gap is basically a myth and there are plenty of resources that support that view.
  16. It was never confirmed by the team, IIRC.... so he may or may not be the OL coach
  17. Glad to hear this. "Just charge people more" is a weak and unimaginative solution. Very NDP.
  18. It's an excellent service but if they raised it to $10 I'm not sure I'd use it. edit: I currently use park & ride pretty much exclusively
  19. For some context and additional info about transportation services provided: http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/06/06/2016-transportation-plan-announced/ I'm interested to know the actual $ cost of transit to the Bombers. Is there a breakdown of operating costs posted somewhere? In 2013 it was $1.1 million but I imagine that's come way down since it was the first year at IGF.
  20. If the Bombers didn't pay, Park and Ride doesn't exist and everyone is forced to take regular buses. Which is a problem all around for city, transit, and the Bombers.
  21. This is just silly.... a regular bus also ships people to places that aren't the Bomber game and continues to operate normally before, during and after a game, with drivers who are already getting paid their normal salary. Very different from a bus (w/ driver) specifically hired to make two trips to and from a single location.
  22. Yes, this will surely increase fan attendance
  23. Atomic replied to Rich's post in a topic in General Discussion
Now this I can get on board with
  24. Pretty good numbers for a year where attendance was down and there were no major events aside from the Heritage Classic. Should be better numbers this year, especially if the team continues to play well.

I went through it all and found nothing new. Multiple agencies say Russia was "probably" behind the hacks. Russia is "likely" connected. It looks like it was Russia. No one can deny that. But no one has made an actual link between the hackers and the Russian government, and no agency claims to. By and large all the "evidence" is circumstantial. That's not enough for me (nor for the courts, if you're wondering).
