I don't particularly want to see Schneider here but there is no question he is better than Mason and Elliott. Raanta and Grubauer are both intriguing options and we could get them for a year or two before offering them a big contract if they earn it. But I have a tough time imagining us going outside the organization and acquiring a young goalie with the intention of keeping him here long term. I see us looking for a veteran to play for one or two years.... I wonder if Ryan Miller could be an option. He's old but we can count on him being pretty good for 30 or so games, I think. I'd rather have him than Elliott or another bum.

Unfortunately you have to accept the element of risk when signing a goalie. You're not getting a good free agent goalie for less than a 4 year term. Can't help but sit here and laugh as all these teams are making trades to acquire goalies and beat the free agent market because it wasn't 2 or 3 weeks ago that people were saying "there won't be much of a market for goalies so we'll have our pick!"

Finn Balor and Samoa Joe are poison to the ratings. Guys like them reaching the top is the worst thing to happen to WWE in years. Cole may have been the best American end we fielded last year but he still was not very good and certainly lacked consistency. I was disappointed that it looked like we were going to bring back both him and Green. I'd like to see at least two more new bodies to try out at DE and hopefully we can get a guy on the PR or as a designated import that is actually worth the space and gives us some depth behind Okpalaugo.

I've done hot yoga and I can echo the "sweat a disgusting amount." I've never sweat as much in my life as I did during hot yoga. It feels great afterwards.

Tavares can likely get that money in at least 10-15 different cities in the NHL. If I am him, there is no way I'm staying in NY. Not once in his time there has he been given any top-tier talent to work with. And any time their young players start to develop, they are shipped out of town. It's a terrible place to play hockey.

For as poor as the receivers are coming out of CIS, the defensive backs are even worse. These things are probably related. Not to be racist but there are just way too many white guys playing DB in the CIS and they suck at it.

Why would that work now if a similar venture failed 20 years ago? What's different this time around? Obviously a peaceful resolution would be the ideal outcome but I'm not sure the "kill them with kindness" approach is going to work for NK.

Haha... not sure we'll ever see the day an 8th round draft pick out of UAlberta returns kicks in the CFL. Tylor just needs to worry about staying healthy and catching the ball in camp and he might just earn a practice roster spot and get into a game some time in the next couple years.

Kohlert was a disaster last year. I was a huge Kohlert fan but he was a total liability on offence in the last half of the season. When you're the 5th receiver, all you really gotta do is catch the ball on the rare occasion it comes your way, and he couldn't do that. Not only that he dropped it in the worst possible way. It was the right time to move on.

Yes, as long as Okpalaugo delivers and stays healthy. Interestingly enough he played with both Kyle Knox and Kyrie Wilson at Fresno State... two of our top candidates to win the MLB spot. Also hoping that Westerman's down season was a blip rather than a sign that his career is winding down. And that Thomas can handle the increased workload and Ekakatie is ready to contribute. Lots of questions but like I said I'm hopeful. I think he'll be a top 3 QB this year along with Reilly and Mitchell.

I'll believe it when I see it.... last year Cummings and Shologan were supposed to fix the dline and it didn't happen. This year it's Thomas/Ekakitie, Nevis, and Okpalaugo. Hoping for the best...
