2017 NHL Off Season
On one hand, I agree that he probably looked worse last year than he actually is. On the other hand, he has been on a downward trend since his first few years in the league and at 26 years old I think we know what he has to offer. He's not particularly physical and offensively he is limited. A 20-point guy. I guess it would depend on the price. I don't believe he is a top-four defenceman on the Jets or any successful team. Therefore the absolute max I would pay is $2.5M (he made 4.5 last year ). In which case we end up with Morrissey-Enstrom-Kulikov-Chiarot on the left side and we would have to buy out Stuart or something.

Prognosticators: Us - Part 2
Haha I'm just kidding. But definitely a very trolly name and avatar

Tiger-Cats @ Argonauts
HUGE blow for Hamilton. He was their best piece on offence and they don't have a lot of them.

And drink Jameson's straight, until he couldn't function.

Not sure. Doesn't really make sense so I'd have doubts about the veracity of that claim.

We were on his NTC along with all the other Canadian teams except Ottawa

2017 NHL Off Season
Not that bad really. Their cupboard is bare for goalies and if they are building for the future they can't do it just with 2017-18 picks. They are going to spend the next 5 years loading up with top prospects. It's a long term view but they weren't going to win the Cup in year one so why not get future value for these guys.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
I agree with BigBlue on this one. I think it's going to be a VERY close game. Bombers might eke out a win but it could easily go the other way.

Ryan Olsen came out of the 2012 draft as well.... but kinda tough to call any 6th round pick a "bust". Only Trouba, Hellebuyck, and Jamie Phillips remain in the system from that draft.

I'd be more surprised if he wasn't than if he was.

2017 NHL Off Season
Kosmachuk looked like he was on the right track for awhile but then just plateaued. Realistically anyone in this organization that's not a high first round pick is going to have a hell of a time cracking the roster. And that's the way it should be.

Ricky is on pace for over 9000 yards

Not so sure that is related, since they have Vernon Adams and Jacory Harris as well.

It's coke. No one cares. You'd probably be blown away by how common it is.

Als also released Canadian receiver Alex Charette who I thought had some potential last season.

I like the Willy signing for Montreal. They have very little depth behind Durant. Interesting that Willy ends up backing up DD again too.

Space is the Place
Right, and it's a big issue. Look at how much we are still learning about planets like Jupiter in our own solar system. Anything further out is just educated guesses even when it comes to composition of the planet. Temperature, liquid water, certain gases? They still can't know that with any certainty without a probe in orbit around the planet.

Space is the Place
How can someone be "close" to discovering something.... you either have discovered it or you haven't. I think this is being blown out of proportion. Technologically we are more capable of finding life than ever before but that certainly doesn't mean we're close.

Half your sports heroes have probably crammed that stuff up their nose. Who cares?

Tiger-Cats @ Argonauts
They have similar problems on offence and I'm not sure Ptaszek lasts the season either.

Tiger-Cats @ Argonauts
If I'm not mistaken Reinbold only lasted a season as DC in Montreal and they had a down year. HAM better hope Kanneh and Davis get healthy and live up to the hype because that secondary was atrocious. OL was nothing special either although I think TOR has a real good front 4... if Bomben is out long term, look out.

2017 NHL Off Season
Been expecting this since halfway through the season. I wouldn't mind it at all. "Year 3 Helle"/Elliott should be a huge upgrade over "Year 2 Helle"/Hutch at the very least.

2017 NHL Off Season
True but they also gave the Oilers an A+.... let's see the reaction in Winnipeg if we drafted a guy who is 5'7" and 150 lbs in the first round. It's all just opinion at this point. I'm excited about Vesalainen simply because I liked him since the U18's but lots can go wrong and lots can go right as these guys develop.
