Lol well yes I hope that decision never happens but it doesn't matter if it's Trump, Obama, or Abe Lincoln, if the decision for a US prez is Winnipeg vs Chicago, they're taking Chicago. Two very different scenarios and very different QBs. Glenn's yardage totals come from his longevity. He is a career .500 QB. Jennings went over 5000 in his third season, won 12 games, put the team on his back and willed them to a playoff win. I know it sucks to see Wally unearth another star QB but it is what it is. He is a top talent, miles above Kevin Glenn.

Quite sure that if we are attacked in any way, the nutbar president to the south will have our back. I'm more worried about the guy running our country. If NK attacks us, his first response will be to ask them what we did to make them attack us like that, and how can we make it up to them?

With teams gravitating more and more towards stadiums of 25K or fewer seats, could we possibly target smaller, less traditional cities? THF in Hamilton holds 24k and was built for roughly $145M. Could cities like Windsor, Kelowna, or Sherbrooke be interested? Could they drum up support for a CFL team?

Cutting Drew Willy certainly seemed short-sighted. I know he has his flaws but.... couldn't Trestman have helped him?

I have never heard a coach say you don't lose your job to injury. Seems to be a media fabrication. They ask coaches all the time "But I thought players don't lose their jobs to injury?" and the coaches all say "I never said that."

They appear to be the most complete team in the East. They beat Calgary and suffered close losses to BC, Winnipeg and Edmonton. They have a good defence and are pretty solid across the board on offence. I expect them to come on strong as the season progresses.

I think he's been practicing basically since the beginning of the season. He was never on the injured list but he was hobbled in training camp for awhile.

Yeah I agree with this, and it wouldn't make sense to pay starter-money to Bruce Johnson to be the 6th or 7th DB. That spot is more suited to a rookie like Carmichael. Johnson is the better player but due to the salary cap sometimes cheaper wins over better.

How many two and outs did they have? The defence kept giving them the ball back and Harris either completed a 2 yard pass, got sacked, or threw it incomplete. He was not good. Maybe that's on the receivers... it's hard to tell on TV. But if they still had Burris they would not be 1-6-1 and they may have won last night. Harris just isn't there yet.
