I'm using him as a lesser QB who was still decently dependable lol. I wasn't putting him into a level of Dickenson or calvillo. meant it as like.. a step up from Glenn but not a huge leap.

If Stegall played for anyone but us, I think he would have set some ridiculous records. we gave the poor guy some of the worst QBs ever. He still re-wrote record books. I don't think it can be said enough just how impressive and "next level" Stegall was for the CFL. If he had a Dickenson or a Burris or the like for extended seasons, my god.

me too if we were scrap heaping.. I honestly don't think we need another DB unless Johnson is out long long term and we suffer another injury..

because people love a player who had experience for some odd reason. I don't get the love affair and sure its worked in instances... Barrin Simpson, Jovon Johnson.. but its also failed miserably as often if not more so.. Jovon Johnson (lol) , Keith Shologan, Jeff Keeping just to name a few off the top of my head.

early to suggest this imo, could be a psych-out move my Wally as well. If theres no change by Wednesday, then I'd assume Lulay is the guy.. which sucks.. Id rather game plan for Jennings.

his son is rod and maybe more so for the churchiness... so, he aint wrong..

over the course of the last 5 seasons, I've seen us be at the mercy of the refs and their brutal calls so often, I stopped assuming anything when a flag came out (or didn't lol) I'm sure its been equal across the board but watching QB after QB get crushed without any calls, receivers get mugged, no call.. guys 3-4 strides off-side and no call only to get a TD or massive gain, 5 yard on punts ignored, etc etc.. you start to go numb a bit. I was really hoping this merger with the NFL would have had some improvements happening by now but.. I just don't see it.. have we got worse?

we really, REALLLLLY need to get the c'mon centre rectified and like, yesterday. its inexcusable that our replay... the only officiating part that should NEVER get things wrong... is failing so badly. It is so beyond logic that they are blowing calls this often and this brutally.. I mean, its not even up for debate as to how they make their calls.. its been wtf pretty much universally across the board in regards to some of their gaffes.

not terribly. He was decent enough but wasn't going to see action with us bringing in ogopogo and Jeffcoat. Now with Oggie down for 6 games, why not bring in someone familiar with how we roll.

oh and I agree.. and I'm sure he would let him know behind closed doors if that was the case. that's all i'm saying. I don't think he would rely on a comment to the media to make that point.. I also think he is smart enough to know that would cause friction that no team ever wants if it can be avoided..

i'm excited to see how well our new D-line can handle BC's run game and Jennings. I also am excited to see how well Heath and company can do against Jenning's sometimes spotty decision making on throws..

Lets not read too much into that tho as he is the HC, if he was truly disappointed in how the plays were being called then I'm sure he would tell Lapo outright, not beat around the bush and do it backhandedly thru the media. if Oshea is anything, hes a straight shooter.
