and people who say that Gretz would get killed in today's NHL aren't giving enough credit to just how smart the guy was. That's the biggest thing...he's the smartest guy to ever play the game, bar none. He always found a way, and even in today's game, he'd find a way. Every time...

If we have Willy in the game, we're always in it. Anyone who gave up after that opening drive can **** off...we don't need fans like that.

It is harder to get angry at a win than a loss. However, there is plenty to discuss about this game namely: 1. The fake punt when it was 3rd and 12; 2. the lack of pressure by the d-line; 3. O'Shea's lack of judgment when he challanged the pass to Denmark; 4.The lack of babes in the beer snake section; and 5. Poor pass protection/Willy holding onto the ball too long. I thought the game was done after the Lions started with the 9 minute td drive but full creit to Willy for inspiring this club to victory. The defence also got their act together and hopefully they can build on it and have gained some confidence. The fact is this is only one win but it is a significant win because it was at home, it wasa short week or prep, the team showed character and their qb showed the kind of tougness you don't see much these days in pro sports. If this was an NFL Monday night football game his 'heroics' would be discussed ad nasuem togetehr with a 30 minute NFL Films tribute. I feel like this sums you up pretty well...

I'd settle for not giving up first downs simply because we're playing a VERY soft zone .. This line has always intrigued me. What would be a hard zone outside of playing man to man? Press man....

that last Ham game is a complete wash for me because of what happens when Willy leaves the game to injury. That's not a good baseline.

If we've learned anything this season, it's that we're never out of a game as long as DW is in there. If the OL keeps him upright, no question we can give Ham a run. **** Angry Kent Austin and that entire crew...let's even up that season series.....

One thing worth mentioning: Both Adams and Washington's INTs were outstanding grabs. Those weren't gimme balls thrown right at them, by any stretch. Extremely impressive....

F***ing Corus....a real shame. And yet, through all of this, in my time in Alberta, I haven't seen them touch Country 105 with a ten foot pole. Other than the rotating crew of evening kids right outta SAIT/MR, they've had the same on air line up for a decade. Corus wouldn't dare touch that one...

Part of my job is HR....I'll tell you right now, that I'm always going to favour someone that I know and trust for a job opening vs someone I don't know. Who wouldn't??

BOOOOGGGGEEEEEEERRRRR When I went into my final year at ACC Brandon, I'd been leaning towards News/Sports, but my instructors thought I'd enjoy the Jock side more, so I ended up doing my 2-month Dauphin practicum as an Evening/Swing jock, doing 6pm-Midnight for awhile. That led to a 4 year stint, climbing from Evenings to Afternoons to Middays to Mornings......then 2 years of Mornings in Winkler.....and now 8 years of Afternoons/Mornings in different formats in Alberta. Have done quite a bit of live sports broadcasting, but my forte is definitely music programming. Eat, Sleep, Breathe 80s/90s Country Music......
