The RBs transition plan hasn't gone according to.......plan. Harris, as he has done each year in his short career, hasn't been able to put together a full 18 games, and lost the starting job again. If he'd been able to maintain a solid pace and looked like a complete starting QB, everything would be fine for them...but what do they do if Harris isn't "for real"? Hank is arrogant enough that he'll try to convince everyone he can play till he's 60. He's exactly the guy who will have to be removed from the game kicking and screaming....

Re: Tait's departure from FreeP, he took a bullet to create budget space for guys like Jeff Hamilton. He chose the buyout and within a couple days, Bombers came to him with an idea and an offer.

Wiecek absolutely has a point, but the problem is he doesn't help his cause by being overly negative most of the time. He goes too far the other way. What made Tait excellent at the FreeP is that he was as close to "down the middle" as you can get. Wiecek always skews negative with his tone. As far as calling out Chipman and then receiving punishment, I think there's a sort of "game" that has to be played there. You have to know, if you write some scandalous piece about MC, it's gonna haunt you. There has to be a way to say something about what you heard, without necessarily taking the guy to task. I mean, what exactly are you hoping to gain by trashing one of the most popular people in Winnipeg??

Durant might be better than Nichols but I don't 100% trust him to stay healthy after the last few years. I think Nichols will return and QB won't be an issue this year...
