When you draft as well as Walters has this is going to be the reality far more often than not. Teams will wait for our cuts rather than us being the ones who have to go dumpster diving looking for treasure.

Fact is that Peterman has made plays every time he has got a chance, wolitarski made plays when he got a chance... simonise made a play and that's about it. Earn your spot, he didn't do it. Say what you will about Kyle Walter's but he is not sentimental about his draft picks. He moves on when guys don't show enough.

Another factor is that they likely feel good about the canadians on the interior of the ol and won't need to start 3 receivers. DT as well. Think they feel good with a Canadian there.

We all wanted Simonise to work out because the tools are all there... but this team isn't in a wait for guys to maybe work out mode, they are in a let's ******* win mode so when other people play better tough luck.

That's what it comes down to. As a receiver if you drop passes you don't make the team.

The riders ran a bunch last year no? I mean they are a team that has to run a bunch because they can't leave their qb in the pocket to pass or he will quite literally get killed on the field, so it's run heavy, short pass heavy and roll the qb out heavy.

I would lean the same way honestly. He's come in as a young raw rookie and looked poised and accurate with his throws. Bennett has been real good too though so I don't know if there is a wrong answer.
