Reasons. Not excuses. Let's look at this from an honest perspective, the first 2 playoff games this team lost because the D simply wasn't good enough. But that aspect of the team has been improved the past 2 seasons. Last season they had a D capable of winning in the playoffs and got a win in the semi final and then ran into Calgary who also had a top D and a better offense. This is why I don't get my panties twisted at the playoff record. You gotta look at the big picture. And really we are going into the playoffs this year with our backup, sask and Calgary aren't. Sure Saskatchewan decided their backup was the better option, but he is their starter now and has been since they traded Collaros. Calgary though has their championship winning qb at the helmet, that's a big advantage for them when compared with 2nd year and raw as hell Streveler. Again, big picture folks. Don't get hung up on the record. Look at why the record exists and why we can not make a knee jerk reaction.

It was a mess when Walters and oshea took over.

With the back up quarterback? Possibly facing Bo Levi Mitchell? No I don't think it's as big a deal as that should they lose. I mean really 2 of their playoff losses at to BLM and Reilly who are the best 2 QBs to play recently. The first one in BC I chalk up to simply the first playoff experience jitters.

Well Calgary has been a pretty big ******* hump! It's almost like not winning the west during the esks dynasty days. Me I got no problem keeping the gm and head coach who turned around a tire fire and built a team that is always competitive for a while longer. But some of you with the championship or just mentality... that's how this mess started in the first place! Ritchie can't get em over the hump fire him! Look at the cycle that took.
  5. Streveler had a lot of success as a red zone qb last season. I have a hard time believing that he got worse. I'd suspect that teams have just gotten wise to the bombers tendencies. It's the same as happened to the rest of the offense.

Except we've had double digit win totals 4 straight years... so it's odd phrasing. Keep doing that the playoff wins will come. Some people let this 1990 crap cloud their judgement.
  7. Winnipeg has like half a million more population than either regina or saskatoon, only an idiot says they're the same. Winnipeg is closer to Edmonton or Calgary than the **** hole Saskatchewan cities.
  8. god it's not like Streveler makes an inordinate amount of mental errors on the field. I actually think he sees the field quite well. His ints are mostly a case of him trying to force something. That doesn't speak to lack of intelligence to me, more like a guy who tries to make something happen. God remember Khari Jones? He threw a pile of ints, but he made a pile of plays too because he was forcing the issue. and a lot of his ints aren't even because of bad reads either, some of them, like for example the one to Adams in the endzone was just a throw that wasn't put where it needed to be. Guy even said that on the post game interview. Every time I hear him talk he seems to know what he did wrong and what he should have done. I have no questions about his intelligence on field or off. He's just raw and needs some experience to put the whole package together.
  9. The only thing I know about any candidate in my riding other than the Conservative is the Liberal was caught sending out mailers with outright lies about the Conservative. So yeah, really no chance I'd vote for someone like that even if the Conservative is a dink. I guess I've seen signs for the PPC candidate and all I can tell about him is he looks like the rich texan from the simpsons.
  10. Hey I was away working for the Marve game.
  11. 50% huh.... I hate you. I have seen them win one single solitary game in that stadium, and it was The Fever vs. Andrew Buckley and freezing cold. That's since 2005!
  12. Not at all, Rider fan mods ban people for simply not drinking the kool aid, the mods here show greater leeway in all aspects. I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th avenue and they wouldn't ban me.
  13. yeah that's what I mean, guy had so few blocked cause he always got it away quick. That's just the kind of day it was for the Bombers.
  14. And Bob Cameron of all people had a punt blocked.
  15. a sample size of 1 isn't anything I'd be overly concerned about.
  16. No I'd rather play the stamps in Winnipeg. Not worried about that Rider team. Don't do stupid things they won't beat us.
  17. Rider fans started calling themselves the loudest fans in the league without cause, Bombers simply showed them how inferior they are. Act like jackasses, get called on it. ANd like I said, the bandwagon is full to bursting. Probably got a bunch of 14 year olds waxing poetic about how awful it was sitting in the stands during the Al Ford days, or how great Bobby Jurasin was and what a treat it was to watch him live!
  18. That was in the redzone, I know people like to use 20 or 25 yard throws as deep but I'm talking about something not into the endzone here.
  19. That sign is there is remind rider fans that they are not the best fans like they think. And more people on the rider bandwagon? Yeah lots of bandwagon jumpers in Saskatchewan I agree, it's a big part of what makes the fanbase garbage in human suits.
  20. No no see, there is a difference. They need to know what I think of them, I don't care what they think of me of Bomber fans.
  21. and the ****** might be thinking that way. Fits his MO.
  22. Best case is sweeping the stamps and hosting them in the west semi (since I don't think we'll get the help we need from teams with nothing to play for and no qbs against the Riders) but then we'd have to beat the Stamps 4 times in one year. That's a tough challenge, but I don't believe that Stamps team is as good as they were previously. They've lost a bunch of games this year they wouldn't normally. Last year in the playoffs it really was a case of Singleton getting the better of Andrew Harris and they don't have that matchup anymore.
  23. They need a reminder of how vile they are and lord knows someone has to take up that mantle.
  24. I was discussing the state of the Bombers the other day and I flat out asked why we stopped pushing the ball deep as often. When was the last time they tried to send Adams downfield in a one on one matchup? Why don't they try letting Whitehead just run under a ball? The only deep shots I can really remember are to Demski and when Harris caught a pass from Adams. The deep ball might be the weakest part of Strevelers passing game, but come on, you gotta take some shots anyway to keep the D from camping on your short game.
  25. Oh yeah how DARE we question the greatness of the BEST FANS IN THE CFL!!!11!!! Here's a pro-tip, I don't give a **** what you or your other Riders fans think of Bomber fans, it's your fanbases collective shitty behaviour that has made the rest of the league hate you all so much, not the Riders, you the **** head fans.
