  1. if Lapo and Hall don't force the team to play scared Calgary is ripe for the picking.

Yeah I was explaining to my wife yesterday how truly awful the play in the league has been this year. If the Bombers don't go on a big run in the post season then it's been basically a waste of a season cause there wasn't a lot of greatness from the CFL this year.
  3. I prefer poetic justice. They had every break all year, about time they got to see how the other half live.

Edmonton is a complete mess right now. Montreal is gonna make short work of them if that's the effort they put forward. I am a big believer in going into the playoffs on a high not a downer. I will say this, Saskatchewan better hope Fajardo gets healthy cause if they bring this kind of pop gun offense into the playoffs they'll get rolled by either Winnipeg or Calgary. As it is I don't think much of their chances. They didn't beat Calgary once this year and the Bombers suffered self inflicted wounds in the losses.
  6. no that can't be true, it's everyone else that are free to take headshots at the riders qbs. they would never do that.
  7. and I hope we do it against Harker too because the pitiful cries of "but our qb was injured!!!!!" all offseason would warm my heart.
  8. Where's his messiah now?

so you think Trump isn't destroying everything he touches? You seen how reliant US farmers are on socialism now that Trumps trade wars have destroyed their economy? So why don't you explain to me the things you think Trump has done that are good and beneficial to the United States. Try and avoid attacks on democrats or socialists or other things of that nature too, and conspiracy theories please. I really want to know what Trump supports think he is doing such a good job of in the face of some absolute travesties that he has been at the helm for,

Forget the Democrats for a second here. I am a Canadian, I have no horse in the race, hell I am not even a lefty, I vote conservative options more then not, but trump has done and admitted to things that make impeachment a slam dunk if not for the party over country Republican party. How can anyone support that? Just trying to understand the mindset.

So you are ok with a president doing all the things trump has done? Why is that?

It's a yes or no question you didn't answer.

so you think there's nothing impeachable that's been done by this president?
  15. contrarians gonna be contrary. He better be careful he doesn't cut himself with all that edge.
  16. Here's a look at the Riders schedule:
  17. meanwhile another self important reporter Mark Spector is giving props to the winnipeg media for shunning Harris. Really is a pattern here. The quality media people support Harris, the self important ****** canoes are taking the moral high ground because they are just better people than all of us and need to enlighten us ignorant masses.

wonder how much that ****** was paid by the big companies to write that nonsense. As for Kelowna, I was highly disappointed when I was out there September long weekend I couldn't try any of the new ones that popped up. Wanted to go to Barn Owl but just didn't have time, tried to go to the place that was right next to the UBCO campus but naturally they discriminated against having minors in the place and apparently my wife didn't like the idea of my going in without them.... I have tried the couple that sprung up downtownish a couple years ago, but damned if I remember what they're called. BNA had some nice beers but there are two others nearby that I would give mixed reviews to.

I wouldn't be so certain about Edmonton over Montreal. Montreal has given Edmonton problems since day 1 of the season.

That right there is just a solid pale ale. Not gonna knock your socks off with anything crazy but it's a text book example of the style in my opinion.

maybe it's time to stop assuming people will just flock to brand loyalty as all mass produced beers are largely the same. Honestly there's a market out there for mass produced beer that is of great variety in my opinion. Doesn't have to be all super hoppy IPAs either. Offer people something with some malt character that isn't just a super sweet mess. Course they might have to brew with actual barley to do that rather than rice or corn syrup.

surely we were all acting somewhat like this:
  23. Now I can actually understand Miller getting the MOC nod if people decided that Harris was out of the running. As I outlined in a previous post, Demski at 690 yards from scrimmage is probably the most notable Canadian player. Wolitarsky didn't get the touches to stand out, Certainly wasn't going to come from the defensive canadian and the only OL to stay healthy all year was couture. Outside of Harris the strength of this teams Canadians is the depth rather than a couple really stand out players. So process of elimination the Media who have the attention spans of an ADHD squirrel would naturally go towards the guy climbing all time special teams tackles charts.
  24. Bottom line we know that many members of the media have a very self important attitude, like they are the ones who decide what is right and wrong. This is just another example of this. You also see it all the time in the NHL too where people will not give the awards to players on shitty teams because of the arbitrary have to make the playoffs mentality. Media needs to come to grips with the fact that they aren't the only ones who are knowledgeable about sports and their opinions are really dime a dozen in this day and age.

you missed " we had to play our backup QB all year"
