  1. What have they done that is so detrimental and what would the conservatives have done differently?
  2. So you'd rather vote for a party intent on taking the country backwards? I mean don't get me wrong I know all the problems with Trudeau and the Liberals but they are still a better choice than what the conservatives are offering. I have never voted liberal in my life and I don't really want to start, but the conservatives as they are now are a threat to our prosperity. Look at how well blindly voting for a conservative provincial government worked out.
  3. I have some bad news for you..... Progressive conservatives are dead in this country. Look at how resoundingly the conservative party rejected Peter McKay in the last leadership convention. That party is fully under the control of the racists and religious nuts. The only honest to God option right now is the Liberals and that kills me to say because Trudeau is ******* clownshoes.
  4. What issues? The ones where it's going as he said it would?
  5. No kidding. Loyal to the CFL? Come on. He is a broadcaster and the NHL was where he really made his mark. He is doing what is best for his career. Simple as that. And as great as Cuthbert is the onus falls on TSN to replace him. There are good broadcasters out there, find one.
  6. So where is the doesn't like the CFL aspect of that? Like I said, wanting to call NHL is a hell of a lot different.
  7. Bullshit. Guy loves the CFL. He also loves calling NHL games. If I recall it was the nhl that really spring boarded his career, and it's a bigger deal in the sporting world. Hard to fault a guy for wanting to call nhl games.

Calgary would get more people out to games with a price adjustment. They are charging premium priced to sit outside in Calgary where a warm day can turn cold at the drop of a hat to watch the CFL. Cfl badly needs to make games more affordable AND reach out to younger fans. Which is part of the affordability. Make games cheap enough for a family to go you start to get kids interested. You're not the NHL, stop assuming people will go regardless of cost.

Yeah I never bought into the idea ambrosie was a good commissioner. He never brought anything positive to the league. He seems to have delusions of grandeur and is more interested in new markets than fixing existing markets.

Those bigger balls are the reason why friends think my hands suck. As a kid that was the only ball we ever used and I learned to throw and catch with that fat sucker. Then these jerks show up with this skinny little ball and i gotta relearn how to everything.

If you're going to kill the CFL do us mercifully and not turning it into XFL Jr. I simply won't care nearly as much about a 2nd teir American league playing in Canada. I can live with the XFL playing by Canadian rules if the cash is good enough but to Americanize the CFL is killing it.

No chance regardless of what the records say. I mean cripes the riders are 0-2 in the playoffs the last 2 seasons. That says everything right there about the quality of that team.

is that why attendance is so low?

Objectively they were a lucky team last year. Anyone actually think Cody Fajardo is going to play at that same level again? They are also a team that relies heavily on older players. They might have finished with a better record but they were paper tigers which is why the Bombers were able to beat them at home in the playoffs both years.
  18. No **** that guy. No idea why people thought he was good. He was a total used car salesman. Slimy as the rest of them. Mulcair was much more electable, but he made the cardinal sin of trying to appeal to moderates.

Being able to delay the 2nd dose to 4 months is huge for getting the first shot into as many people as possible. If everyone gets their first shot by summer that goes a long long way to getting lives back to normal. The question of course is, does life go back to normal? Or has there been a systemic change that will linger?

Colin just wants to go back to the days of milt and Bruce at slot. Lots of ways to make receivers work. All depends on what kind of offense you're running.

As I said, Nichols came in and did the things you praise collaros for. Willy started the same way. Streveler too. But when ever qb that comes through here has the same progression towards ultra safe dump offs you gotta start looking at the guy coaching the offense.

I feel like we have said this for every qb we have had the last few times Lapo has been here. Maybe, just maybe that's a huge thing in the Lapolice offense. I mean Drew Willy became dump off man, Matt Nichols did it. Streveler started out throwing all over the place and became run or dump it off guy... Maybe that's just want Lapo does to his quarterbacks? The more time they play the more they dump off. The issue with Nichols is that he is not as accurate on the deep ball as some guys. He took his shots because a lapolice offense will always try and hit some big plays. Collaros has a much more accurate arm than Nichols on the deep shots, however I felt that Collaros wasn't as accurate throwing the shorter stuff to Harris as Nichols was. It's the CFL, there is no perfect quarterback in this league. Just find a guy that works with what you are doing and for a lot of years Nichols worked, except for his injuries.
