Since teams have access to all contracts filed with the League, I think Desjardin would have a better idea than any of us if some teams have overspent. As for Harris in Ottawa, his big bucks don't start until year 2 of his contract.

So you would sign a guy for really big bucks and then tell him he will have to play out of position. IIRC Bourke has never played RT and switching to the other side of the o-line would be quite an adjustment. He'd have to change his footwork, re-learn his angles, etc. No guarantees that he would be as good at RT as he is at LT.
