Cory Watson out vs REDBLACKS
I'd imagine we'll see a "national" receiver added to the PR soon too.

Cory Watson out vs REDBLACKS
Yep, and eventually 80% becomes 100%, Watson's probably already there.

Eskimos @ Lions
I think it was the dropsies Bowman suffered here that had more to do with Bowman's departure. Sure, almost all of his drops were on one route that Lapolice kept sending him on even though he had trouble tracking the ball on that one route. Coach should have found a way to make him useful, ridiculous talent just put to waste here in that 2010 season.

Eskimos @ Lions
It's too bad Lapolice couldn't get over the fact that Bowman has trouble tracking the ball on corner routes, cause he is a monster on the other 95% of the route tree.

Als @ Stampeders
Ochocinco isn't a scrub, Deslauriers is decent and Whitaker is great at catching out of the backfield. Deslauriers has hit 300 yards in his career twice in 7 years.... Jade had 265 in half a season last year.

Eskimos @ Lions
Reilly has the pocket presence of a young Alex Brink. They won't be able to get him to stop running cause that's his best play.
-
Eskimos @ Lions
Reilly holds the ball for a long time and his OL is terrible. Bad combo.

Bombers Looking to Trade Korey Banks
I'm sorry but JJ did everything this organization asked him to do and never complained publicly, ever. I think there were huge 'attitude' problems last year... once the coach visibly quit on the team and the GM vanished. The description came from Wiecek, so take that for what its worth. Considering how little Poblah and Banks have contributed to their respective clubs, this looks like a lose-lose transaction. Huh? Poblah's playing for BC.

Als @ Stampeders
They can't judge intent, but that's as intentional as it gets. Cornish will be lucky if his jaw isn't broken.

Als @ Stampeders
A flying right hook. Should be an ejection if the back judge was watching.

NI Receiver Options
We need to dress another NI, doesn't necessarily have to be a receiver. We have Pontbriand, Fitzgerald and Volny on offence too as cover beyond the 3 receivers for 2 spots. If Alexander is ready he might take Watson's roster spot vs Ottawa. Kyle Norris would be another option.

Als @ Stampeders
Shutout in the first half with a 15 yard penalty on the 2nd half kickoff. Doesn't get much worse.
-
Als @ Stampeders
Als should just run All Go every down and hope they hit 1 or 2 of them.
-
Als @ Stampeders
If the Als are lucky, Smith will reach the upside of Michael Bishop. Have a handful of spectacular games, but inconsistent and inaccurate. I don't believe Marsh is much better either.
-
Als @ Stampeders
His analysis of Jeff Fuller was good. Played 3 games in 2013, only 15 catches. Yes, only. 5 catches a game= 90 a season. Only 90.

Bombers Looking to Trade Korey Banks
Meh, it's football, it is ruthless. I think most players would rather play for a team that puts the guys on the field who most deserve it.

[MERGED] CFL ON DEMAND / TSNGO
Are you sure? I've got a tracker from their site http://www.tsn.ca/draftcentre/feature/?id=120382 or am I looking at something different from what you wanted? Maybe it was an ad for TSNGO that took over my screen, either way I just flipped to NHL.com once I saw TSNGO.

[MERGED] CFL ON DEMAND / TSNGO
Bell was smart enough to block their NHL Draft tracker with the TSNGO crap. Guess I'll take my web traffic to one of the other 1000 sites providing that service today.

Bombers add Riders cut DB Troy Stoudermire
Returner too.

Coaching differences....
Looked like Jim Barker thought he was the head coach last night. Kind of crazy to see the GM on the field arguing with the officials. I didn't notice that but I did chuckle at the shot of Barker standing right behind Milanovich at the start of the 2nd half scowling with his arms crossed while Milanovich uncomfortably fidgeted with his headset. It was after the play in the back of the endzone on Argo 3rd down where Washington got called for unnecessary roughness but they called the penalty as occurring after the change of possession, giving the Bombers the ball -15 yards. It was Murray Clarke calling it as the back judge, he does owe us a few dozen calls.

Wowee, Still Can't Believe What I Saw
And really, the fact that teams know the Bombers are hyper aware of that on punts, and willing to let Renaud throw the ball (hey it's better than letting him kick off a tee) might make them hesitant to put a punt block on with extra guys inside.

GDT: Toronto @ Winnipeg
Morley took a pretty funny dive on a PAT after a Toronto guy punched him...took a good 5 seconds for the pain to register in his brain. Must have been watching the World Cup.

Coaching differences....
Alexander is probably a little better than Bucknor. Bucknor hesitates a lot, but to his credit he kept everything in front of him and finished plays last night. Better to give up 11 yards and a first down than a 50 yard run after catch.

Cdn Depth
Teague Sherman, damn. Ballcarriers better be carrying that ball extra tight when he's around. Nice to see Sherman getting a chance on D and continuing to shine as he did in limited chances last season. Dobie's probably wishing they played him at SAM LB now.

Coaching differences....
They moved the guys around in the front 7 like crazy though, pre-snap too. I think Turner and Vega lined up in every gap during the course of the game. It's such an advantage for the defense if they can screw with the QB's pre-snap reads nowadays. Tackling needs to stay strong though. I was glad to see that because they struggled somewhat in the pre-season, admittedly with a lot of cuts/non-contributors in there. I really like the new additions in the secondary, Randle, Johnson and Leggett especially. Will be interesting to see what happens with Suber and Banks. How do you sit one of those guys or someone like Dunn after that game?
