This is a great discussion PCG and I think it's a whole distinct thing from the attendance story in the CFL. I've got serious mixed feelings about the CFL diving into the gambling biz. I don't bet myself but as a fan I kinda like having a line on the game, it spices the game up and gives extra things to talk about and of course the CFL could definitely use the money. But on the other hand I've got at least one cousin whose VLT habit made her homeless. I've also got family who are serious untreated alcoholics and no one bats an eye at booze sponsorships of sports. I dunno. Everything in capitalism is about the vulnerable being exploited maximally. Would like to see the CFL give equal time during broadcasts to gambling addiction hotlines / programs, maybe. Put a hotline phone number on the screen, have Glenn Suitor speak in hushed tones about how gambling addiction is a real problem and urging people to seek help if they're out of control.

have you seen Rod Smith's post-pandemic hair? more like Rod White amirite. I think Rod Smith pairs really well with Dunigan. Dunigan gets to be his wacky four-beers-in self while Smith calls the action with the hushed tone of a funeral director. It's a good combo.

That push-off was on a turnover, so both the onfield and replay officials missed it, but Dickenson didn't have his timeout, so he couldn't even appeal their miss. Mike Reilly came out slinging the ball like it was 2015. He had a monster 61-yard throw from one hashmark to the other and his receivers caught everything marginal he threw, so yeah, you missed some stuff. And watching BLM play like TJR was entertainment of a sort. Game definitely lacked some polish, tho.

Should've kicked the fg there. Two-score game with not a lot of time remaining... burned almost a minute to make their fg shorter by 6 yards.

can't see a solution tho. no way to guarantee that anyone who's on the roster actually plays any number of snaps, guys do pull up lame in the warmup. #iamverysmart
