Stamps v TiCats/ ALs v Riders
I am assuming Mr. Turner and the rest of the Bomber D is licking its chops in anticipation of facing the Alex Brink-led offensive juggernaut next week...

Stamps v TiCats/ ALs v Riders
I loved the stunned looks on the faces of the slack-jawed inbreds in the stands after the Duron Carter FG return. Hilarious!

Where is Ocho-stinko? Is he injured?

Durant seems to be basically indestructible.

Brink is again the king of two and outs. If I was Higgins I'd be throwing in Tanner Marsh right about now.

Our new jersey
I still laugh every time I see Dieter hucking the ball with that big ass towel hanging from his waist. He looks like he just walked out of the sauna.

man the Rider offence is downright putrid. Brink is playing about as good as I thought he would play, in that he is sucking as bad as he did when he played here.

Stamps v TiCats/ ALs v Riders
I think you could call holding on every offensive play for the Riders, and illegal contact on a receiver on every defensive play. The Riders are the worst team I've seen this year for cheating, but they get away with it so why not.

Bartel punts like Renaud, the concept of a coffin corner doesn't appear to be in his skill set.

Boy I hope the Riders lose this game...

Exactly. A monkey could market that team. A nutless monkey.

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
if we are going to talk about the worst trades made by the Jets then you have to mention the Dave Babych for Ray Neufeld trade. Just the absolute worst, dumbest move in Jets history. Teemu was bad but it was made due to money issues. The Babych trade was just a massive brainfart by Fergie.

Just in case you're discouraged by the last two games ...
The way to beat RR is to keep him off the field. We had way too many two and outs. And drives killed by penalties, whether they be real or phantom ones like the one on Howard that brought back that TD to Bryant. If you give RR that much time with the ball, with a defence going on four days rest, the outcome is inevitable.

Hutterites
All the Hutterites I know are ones who went over the wall and escaped. I don't know what your definition of "works" is but I don't think a Hutterite colony is a good example.

GDT: Winnipeg @ Toronto
You must have been watching the Banjo Bowl from 2009 as I saw no ass-kicking going on last week. What I saw was a defense win the game for an offense that was getting its ass kicked.

Just in case you're discouraged by the last two games ...
I'm not discouraged in the least. We should have won that Rider game but that's ok because we should have lost the Hamilton game. The Argo game doesn't discourage me, it just pisses me off. Talk about handing the Argos a free win on the bingo card. One day of practice, only four days of rest, of course we ran out of gas by the fourth quarter. And just to ensure the thievery, the idiot ref calls back our TD to Romby on a questionable "hands to the face" call, and that PI call on Bucknor was a national disgrace. Someone at the Command Center should be fired for that garbage. Why shitty calls go against us year in and year out, I'll never know. Why the Bombers get picked to be the sacrificial lambs for Toronto last Tuesday is crap. It's like the league knows no matter how the Bombers get screwed, the fans will just keep coming back and taking it, so why not pick on the Bombers, the consequences are minimal. And now BC, our Western rivals, get to manhandle a tired Argo team on Sunday and a free spot on the card for them. No coincidence that both teams are owned by the same guy either. I just hope that now with 10 days rest and a chance to draw some breath, the Bombers come out next week and pound Montreal right into the turf. If that doesn't happen, then I will start to be discouraged.

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
the story I heard was that Skalbania offered to sell Gretzy to Pocklington or Shenkarow, and the one who won the game of backgammon would get the right to buy the contract. Pocklington won the game, and so got Gretzky.

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
Yeah it sounds like Jeff isn't the brain his dad is. Perhaps Bob should have thought twice before handing off the team to his kid. I still remember watching the son of the Glieberman guy run Ottawa right into the ground. The height of the stupidity was his great idea to have a "date a cheerleader" contest and the whole "Mardi Gras" night fiasco. What a disaster.

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
Teams rise and fall as coaches come and go and QB's that were once great get old and retire. Look at the Bombers in that golden era from 1957 to 1965. After Bud Grant left and Ken Ploen retired, the Bombers went into a wasteland that lasted until 1984. And now we're in another wasteland that we entered in the mid 1990's that we are seeming to just be wandering out of again (with some brief stops at an oasis like in 2011, 2007 and 2001-2). It's tough to replace coaches and QB's. Montreal is now entering their own wasteland. The difference between them and us is they don't have the fanbase to survive it.

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
Feterik, Pezim, Ryckman, Gliebermans, Bruce McNall and the continual clown show of owners in Toronto before Braley bought them...Wettenhall is miles ahead of all of those guys...
