The newsfeed doesn't offer anything to me. It's just a waste of space. That being said, I simply ignore it like most folks.

My take: 1. Burris - MOP say no more. 2, Mitchell - Consistent even when everything around him was changing. 3. Collaros - Could have been MOP if he'd stayed healthy 4. Reilly - All he does is win and that's the whole point of the game. 5. Harris - Made the most of his opportunities. 6. Jennings - Young and athletic. Huge upside. 7. Ray - Still throws the best deep ball in the CFL, not sure how much more time he has left. 8. Willy - Injury prone but gets the job done when he's healthy. 9. Glenn - The Rodney Dangerfield of the CFL is still a good QB. 10. Lulay - Not the same since his last injury, but can still get the job done when he's healthy. 11. Franklin - Young and athletic with a big upside. 12. Nichols - Good backup

Hopefully this contract was done last year so the bonus is in the 2015 SMS.

It's a great signing IMO. Use up the remaining 2015 SMS and get another year out of Bryant.

I don't like O'Shea because of his record, because he provided less wins in season 2 than season 1, because his team didn't beat any of the top 4 teams, because we didn't have even 2 wins in a row since the summer of 2014 and a myriad of other reasons, none of which relate to his media policy. I wouldn't like this policy if Huffer or Trestman or anyone else that I like and respect made it. I'm not hoping that something a coordinator says might not be on point with what O'Shea says. Who cares if a coordinator has a different view than the HC anyway? They're adults and 'experts' in their field. I expect some differences but I'm not looking for them. I'm sure that there are a bunch of things that I care about that others don't and just as sure that they care about a bunch of things that I don't. Differences make for better conversation IMO. I'm not sure why some folks around here believe that wanting more info on the Bombers from more sources must have some sinister ulterior motive. It doesn't.

My god.. This again? Good grief man. Some folks want to hear what the coordinators have to say. You don't care. What else is there to 'understand'? It's got nothing to do with skewering the Bombers or a sense of entitlement. It's about more and better Bomber coverage. It's about working with the media instead of against it. It's about different angles to stories. It's about the coaches closest to the situation giving their opinions. It's about coaches who are better with the media getting a chance to use that to the Bombers advantage. It's about one less thing for the media/fans to complain about.

As a fan, I think it would be really interesting to hear what PLAP and Hall have to say and if the OC/DC were allowed to talk to the media, there'd be one less thing for the media to complain about. Surely that's worth something to the team.

Not likely. In the PLAP presser, reporters asked if the coordinators would get to talk and PLAP rightly said that's the HC's decision and he'd go with whatever O'Shea wanted. BTW: Both PLAP and Hall have more media experience than MOS. I'd bet that they wouldn't have any problems doing a weekly media Q & A.

Was there ever any doubt that MOS was going to let his coordinators talk to the media? He's never done it before. Most of the fans in the year end poll wanted to hear what the coordinators have to say. Personally, I'd love to hear what Hall and PLAP have to say.

This is great news. Since the switch to the new websites, you can't find depth charts even for last year or the big stats package PDF's with the team rankings. Extra info will be great to have.

ANd do we think Lapolice is taking this job right now for any reason other than he thinks if O'Shea gets fired he'll get another chance to wear the big head set? Yes. His other reason is that he gets to stay home with his wife and kids.

I gotta say what they are doing in Regina is exactly what I wanted us to do this year. That kind of management should turn them around pretty quickly.

Yuck indeed. Just what we didn't need... another nice guy who's failed many times before to run a vanilla offense and who gets QB's killed.

I did want Cortez, but he's out of the running now. My second choice wouldn't be PLAP. In fact, I'd go with a guy who's never been an OC over PLAP. I guess my new choice is Chapdelaine. Pretty good track record even last year until he lost both Durrant and Glenn. Jones? Nah, he's not been a good OC. I'd take him as a receivers coach tho. Mass? I think he'll be the Eskie HC. The Redblacks wouldn't even let us interview him for OC. Jackson? Never been an OC. I'd take him over PLAP but, I'd rather have him as a QB coach.

Oh c'mon, you've been pre-shaking your head and pre-sighing since season's end.You were just waiting for a name. Oh c'mon. I've been saying that PLAP's not the best guy for any job since before we canned him as our HC. You don't remember the vanilla offenses and the 3 yard dump passes when we needed 10 yards or more? How bout the number of times that Buck and other QB's took huge beatings under PLAP's offensive schemes? Yah... I'm sure you remember all of that but have someone other than PLAP to blame. Now that it looks like we've decided to give PLAP a 3rd try folks are suddenly OK with it?

I think it's a huge upgrade over the old site. Easy to use on both mobile and laptop. Looks great, but it's only as good as the information that it contains and that could still use some work.
