LDC/Banjo Bowl
I have watched about half a dozen games on it. Montreal, Ottawa was very good on Friday. Explore the site further, there are live games.

CFL, September, time to trend up, all that rot.

There parity based on how teams are playing now - when it counts.

I guess some of us thought we had the second best team...

LDC/Banjo Bowl
I agree, the talent is there. Sure the receivers could be better, but we have the best OL, the best RB, a solid front 7 on D, and some good talent in the secondary. We have weaknesses, but so does everyone else. When you watch teams like Montreal and Saskatchewan win games - the Bombers are quite frankly out of excuses.

He has not been better than Berry - yet. Yeah, he’s a nicer guy, but the results have been about the same.

Around the League: 2018 Season
12 sacks given up is the least in the CFL. The Bombers & Stamps are tied for second with 15. FWIW Winnipeg has played one game more than both Saskatchewan and Calgary.

1A and 1B Quarterbacks
I like the way they made absolutely sure the OL was solid. When they didn't have a Canadian for left guard, the used an American (Bond) who was the best guard in the CFL, and made the ratio work elsewhere.

Even Taman would bring in guys like Garrick Jones, Derek Armstrong and Juran Bolden.

Aren’t you the guy who keeps saying they had all these great Americans from Joe Mack’s pipeline?

That is what I heard as well...

Holy Smokes... Step back from the edge...
Bombers are 3rd in the CFL with 22 sacks. SK & Edm are tied for first with 23 each. I think expecting the DL to generate more sacks is unrealistic. In Terms of giving up sacks, The best teams are Riders 12, Stamps 15, & Bombers 15.

Holy Smokes... Step back from the edge...
I agree, except for the blitz. When you look at the adjustments the Stamps made, a blitz would be absolutely the wrong defensive call to make.
-
Holy Smokes... Step back from the edge...
He started hitting his receivers because they added extra protection. The Bombers' adjustment needed to be made in coverage. All I'm saying is - to say that they were not getting pressure is false - that's the primary reason the Stamps only had 12 points at the half.

Holy Smokes... Step back from the edge...
And the way you see things: 'the fact the he wasn't sharp could not possibly have had anything to do with the Bombers' pressure.' unquote I don't see how people can say we the D wasn't generating pressure. Calgary's second half adjustment was adding more blockers at the line of scrimmage.

I'm sure they began with a colloquial chat over a Farmery - and Milt hung his head in shame by the time it was over. 😅

This just gets better and better. What authority does Wade Miller have over Milt Stegall?

Exactly - this has become what the panel said about it.
