  1. It would be a daft party.
  2. I guess now Jennings can play duck & check without rattling off 15 second snap counts first.
  3. I wish you were right. If you were, something would have been done by now.
  4. Personally, I don’t believe any Canadian government is going to build a pipeline. Harper might have, but not any of the current leaders.
  5. I partly agree - but how was anyone going to save 100 000 jobs in Alberta?
  6. I thought that a few weeks ago - but it’s looking more and more like she’s just an ethical person. If she runs again as an independent, her constituents bloody well better vote her back in.

Cameras can be lethal... A study found in a 7-year period, 259 people worldwide died while taking selfies. More than 70 percent were men, who researchers said took more risks to get a dramatic shot. Tech giants have promoted a culture of selfies and social media is full of daring photos taken at great risk. The rugged 277-mile-long Grand Canyon makes safety rails impossible in many areas. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/grand-canyon-tourist-falls-to-his-death-while-taking-photos-2019-03-29/
  8. She stays because the optics of Trudeau forcing her out would probably be the final nail in the Liberal coffin.
  9. Some pretty damning testimony has come to light today - the fall out / results will be interesting indeed...
  10. Which we will not compromise - just hold the bag till the commissioner gets back...
  11. If it’s going to be the Andrew Harris show again, they might as well start 7 nationals on O.

Sounds like poor quality over cooked potatoes
  14. Could work if they bring some cheap American booze...
  15. So, he doesn't seem like a guy who could go the NFL route - might be a good pick if he's still there in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  16. Iron Mike Sellers should be part of the poll, IMO
  17. Outstanding talent at a critical position - the years when we didn't have quality OTs can only be thought of as depressing.
  18. When I was 10 or so - he used the top of my head as a table to sign an autograph - very cool guy.
  19. A Canadian OT of Stanley Bryant's calibre, capable of locking down his position, there it might be warranted But we don't seem to see too many Canadian tackles anymore.

Not surprising. Out here in the rural areas, we have the same thing on a smaller scale. The Conservative Candidate in Selkirk - Interlake routinely wins by 6000 - 12000 votes, regardless of what is happening federally. If you look to Alberta, the gap widens even further.
  21. And that makes sense at a critical position.
  22. Could be an exception in that case, but it’s not the norm. Shutdown offensive tackles are well paid, period.

Must have been a Canadian team in town that afternoon..,
  24. Personally, if the PCs do not retract their ignorantly arrogant closure of the MB. Education Library, I don’t think I can ever vote Conservative again.
