The electric engine has never been the issue. The issue is...how is the electricity to power the engine being generated? Most of the world's electricity...still comes from fossil fuels.

The point should be to research the entire story. This is exactly the kind of misleading crap that fuels things like the anti - vax movement. All she did was stop clapping first.

I can also find clips and sources that tell me the world is flat.

Your point is that she didn't clap long enough?

Covid-19
My kid is also under 5. Many vaccines have been around for decades and are still not approved until you're a certain age. Yet, kids could still be susceptible to those diseases. One example would be the flu shot.

Covid-19
1. Only mentioning 'death' was in response to what was posted above. 2. It's true of every vaccine, that not everyone can get it. Yet, there are no special protections in place for those people. 3. It's also true of every vaccine, that in spite of its effectiveness, some people are still at risk for severe outcomes.

The vast majority of Canadians are vaccinated, boosted and living in a population with a very high vaccination rate There really isn't any better protection available

Canadian Politics
Incorrect. There are videos that clearly show all MPs clapping - Bergen included.

Covid-19
I honestly don't quite understand where you guys are coming from The best protection is vaccination - anyone who is not yet vaccinated is probably not going to get the jab - continuing the mandates is not going to change that The vast majority of vaccinated people - are quite frankly not going to die

Shared this on my Whats App status to gauge the response People live in a world where they can ignore reality...if it doesn't suit them. 1. It's propoganda 2. There are busted crisis actors with fake injuries 3. There's a Ukrainian anti-air missile doing friendly fire 4. And the usual rhetoric about people airing Russia's dirty laundry 5. Oh and - just by sharing this - I'm ignoring the Ukrainian civil war 6. Etc. etc. etc.

You were a Bomber fan before 2019. We wrote the book and reinvented the wheel - on that.

Inspiration that matters: Canadian vax rate, age 5 and up 89% at least one dose 81% 2 doses 43% boosted This is very high, considering that the 5 - 11 age group is around 50%

Meanwhile: the majority world's electricity is generated from fossil fuels and non - renewables 36% coal; 23% gas; 10% nuclear; 16% hydropower; 5% wind; 11% other sources And, Hydropower creates issues with mercury level and flooding The world could be 100% EV, and we would still need almost as much fossil fuel as we ever did I don't see EVs as the way to put fossil fuels behind us - that is just not realistic What EVs WILL DO, is create a system where fossil fuels are burned only in certain areas, as opposed to all over the highways, the way they are now There will be a much greater ability implement the latest and best CLEAN TECHNOLOGIES, such as scrubbers for coal and biomass, burning oil at higher temperatures, etc.

This. The stuff that Sun media and Rebel news put up on their social media channels, is enough to numb anyone's brain. They literally have clips of JT at international events, where they video edit and narrate to make it look like no one interacts with him.

Sorry, I thought you were asking what the money was spent on.
-
World Politics
1. Increased transfers to the provinces (MB. alone has increased by more than 1 billion annually) 2. Pandemic spending - I'm sure most of CERB was borrowed money

Covid-19
I am referring to rapid tests being 50% accurate. Whether the person being tested has symptoms makes a big difference to the accuracy of the test.
-
Covid-19
It depends what rationale the comment is based on. Was the doctor talking about testing people with symptoms? Or were they referring to testing both symptomatic and asymotomatic?

Based on the current metal prices, all of that fossil fuel infrastructure can be recycled for a considerable amount of cash Number 1 copper is as high as $5 per pound, aluminum cans are over 80 cents per pound

That's a good start - I hope we see much more of that

If it's just going to continue filling the general revenue coffers, then I would actually agree with scrapping it. It could be revamped into a positive good that no one could argue against.

Exactly. The money should be used for green initiatives: 1. Plant trees 2. Research and develop biomass/carbon neutral energy sources Etc. Etc.
